Details

Pour or place your prepared mixture into the silicone mold cavities and allow it to cool, harden, or set fully according to your project type. Once firm, gently pull the sides of the mold away from the product, then press on the bottom of the cavity until it begins to release, and carefully remove. Care: Hand wash molds in warm, sudsy water and allow to dry completely before reuse.

Perfect with Mica

"I use these for my melt & pour soaps. It makes a beautiful shape, but you can really make it pop by painting it with some shimmering mica. I have an activated charcoal bar I use gold mica on and the effect is fantastic. Comes out of the molds very easy to and is easy to clean."

My First Silicone Mold and I'm Back to Buy More!

"I've made M&P soap for years, just for personal use and as gifts. I only ever used the plastic, hard molds because they're cheaper & come in so many different patterns/shapes. It sometimes would take a little time to get the soap out of the plastic molds (especially if there was a mold in the center!) but eventually it'd pop out. But, the last few times I made soap, due to my arthritic fingers (I have both Rheumatoid and severe Osteo arthritis), I struggled to get any of the soaps to pop out. I finally ended up asking my husband (who, of course, managed with no problem), but I ordered this mold the very next day. Today, I used it for the first time and YAY, I had no issues at all - the bars are bigger than I thought they'd be and the pattern, even in just a solid color with no special touches, is striking. I'm now cruising for another silicone mold to purchase today."

The cavity capacity says it's 3.9 oz, but when I made soap with it, my bars weighed only 3.0 oz. What is the reason for the discrepancy? I used Premium Goat's Milk for the base with a small amount of fragrance and powder.
