They only work when trimmed properly

"Wooden wicks need to be trimmed down to be almost flush with the candle. They cannot be sticking out in a big way. Most people on here are amateur candle makers and dont know how to keep the wooden wicks lit. That's user error and not an indicator that these wicks are not good in quality. They are great and provide such a nice crackling experience for the candles."

"I really enjoy using the wooden wicks'this was my first time trying them, and I'm so glad I did! The crackling sound they produce, reminiscent of a cozy fireplace, adds such a unique and relaxing touch to the candle experience. One thing I've noticed is that trimming the wooden wick can take a few attempts. Occasionally, small pieces or shards of wood fall into the candle, which might be something I need to work on or perhaps a characteristic of the wick itself. Either way, it's a beautiful and charming addition to any candle. Highly recommend!"
