Smells and feels terrific!

"The ease of making this was my first love for it, could not be easier. My only problem was I could not fit 2. 4 oz in the jars no matter how much I tapped them on the counter. I ended up loading up a bunch of tiny . 30 oz jars with the remainder of it, which of course will work great for samples."

"I couldn't quite get it to whip like I thought it should, but once I had it poured and let it sit the consistency was perfect. I whipped a batch up last night in about ten minutes after I got miserably burned in the sun. I left the cornstarch out because I really don't like the feel in my products and it still was just as soft and beautiful. It was a little greasy because I left out the cornstarch but that was perfect for my circumstances. It cooled the burn and helped my skin heal pretty quick. I really do love this formula and the kit just made it so easy and inexpensive. The scent is soft and not overpowering. I will certainly be back for more."

Great Body Butter, A breeze to make

"This body butter is so easy to make and smells terrific, The kit brings perfect little containers as well. When first made it looks greasy but as it cools and the consistency changes it looks great. It is a tiny bit greasy but it is absorbed into the skin so quickly that it isn't an issue. However, although the kit says it yields 7 containers I was only able to fill 6. I will be ordering the kit soon as this batch is almost sold out."

great recipe!

"I made this recipe yesterday but substituted a coconut floral scent instead. The whipped butter is very light and melts to the touch. It's oily, but it does sink in to the skin within a reasonable amount of time. I applied the butter after a bath and went to bed. I woke up to the softest skin I think I've ever had, and it's still feeling great! I love the aloe butter on its own, but I love it even more as a whipped butter."

Can the cornstarch be substituted with something like arrowroot? how much would I use?: Yes, you can substitute for the same amount.
What oil can be substituted for mineral oil?: You can sub any light weight oil, such as jojoba oil or aloe vera oil.
I can not find the directions to make this. I purchased the kit awhile go. Could you please let me know the directions. If I wanted to add a preservative to this recipe, which preservative do you reccomend?: Preservative - Sorbic Acid +2 PF or Preservative – Phenoxyethanol + CG can be used.
Can this be kept in the fridge in between uses for a more cooling effect?: You can keep this in the refrigerator but the butter will get hard. It will melt, though, once applied to the skin.
