A really good starting point

"The recipe is great. I like that all the amounts were given and some in larger quantities than needed. For me it worked really well. I added fragrance oil as my tattoos are over a year old and healed and use an FO that's a little too fragile for CP soap. It smells great. My only issue is that the balm comes out a little softer than I wanted but my only comparison is one with cocoa butter and too hard. I used push up tubes and the tubs provided to test the material and the tubs are the way to go. Easy to scoop, easy to apply. The balm melts into the skin well and doesn't leave tattoos feeling oily or greasy. That being said, the smell without my added FO was a little chemically and mechanic oil smelling."

Accelerates, but WORTH IT!!! Amazing fragrance!!!

"First of all, this scent is INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!! It is one of the best fall fragrances I've ever smelled. It smells strongly of cider with other wonderful fall notes. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. However!!! It accelerates like crazy in CP soap. If you keep it simple and do a solid colored soap OR you do mini batch layers, you will be fine. I would recommend hand whisking this fragrance and moving quickly! It is certainly a fragrance worth having for your fall soap collection!"

Very Strong

"I read the reviews and I was waiting for it to get crazy and accelerate on me but it worked great. I soaped in the mid 80's and didn't have any issues at all. I love the scent. It's very nice and strong! It's a YES!!!"

Interesting new fragrance

"I find this to be an very interesting fragrance, almost a bit masculine, but I really like it! It's very complex with many layers. I first get hit with almost a musk type aroma, followed by something a bit more woodsy, and rounded out by a bit if fruity. It smells so similar to one of the home goods type stores I like to shop in, and it's almost like they were able to bottle the smell of that store! I'm not sure how it will translate into my products, but I am eager to try this one out."
