Smells fantastic in the bottle but dissappears in

"First of all, this smells fan-friggin-tastic out of the bottle. Quite strong Butterscotch and with just the right amount of pumpkin. Unfortunately when I cut the soap the there was absolutely ZERO smell. I even used more than recommended because I put pumpkin puree in the batter and I had heard that it could possibly overtake the fragrance. Im not sure if it was the pumpkin or just the cold process. This would probably be great in m&p or a bath bomb or bath salts. I ended up shredding my soap and rebatching."
