Celestial Blue Sparkle Mica Soap Color Bar is soap bar made with concentrated amounts of blue mica that can be used to color melt and pour soap batches. The color bar produces a light blue color in clear soap similar to bright Californian blue skies seen from places such as Santa Monica Pier and Laguna Beach.

This product conforms to the reporting requirements of California Proposition 65 (Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986). We are conforming to the regulation by reporting the existence, or lack thereof, of ingredients deemed reportable by the above mentioned regulations via a Safety Data Sheet (SDS), in Section 15 "Regulatory Information." Ingredients from Natural Food Sources (NFS) and are exempt from reporting in accordance with Title 27, § 25501(a).

International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients (INCI):
Sorbitol, Sodium Cocoate, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Stearate, Water, Glycerin, Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Ultramarine Blue

Directions:

DIRECTIONS: Cut desired amount from the color bar and melt into warm soap base at 130-140ºF. To color your product, start with small amount of color and increase as desired. Adding this color to white soap will produce a pastel colored bar. Adding this color to a clear base will produce a shimmering bright colored bar.

TIPS: Using too much color may cause staining. Test your final product to ensure optimal performance and no staining. Protect work areas and clothing when mixing.

STORAGE: Store in an airtight, cool, dark location. When stored properly, best used within 1 year from date of purchase.

CAUTION: Approved for melt and pour soap. Not approved for general cosmetics, eye and lip products. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

COMMENTS: This is a lovely shade of light shimmery blue! I'm new to this so I ordered both color bars and mica powders and decided it's easier for me to use the micas. It's just easier for me to measure the micas, but that might not be the case for other people. Unless you are using a whole block, it's sort of hard to measure how much you are using (if you need to replicate later on.) I agree with someone else that said you end up using a lot more of the bars, then the micas, so micas may be better value over time. Very lovely color though!
