Product Details

Chocolate Brown Mica Powder is a shimmering brown cosmetic powder that is safe for coloring cosmetics. This brown color complements chocolate or dirt fragrances perfectly.

The pictured lotus blossom is clear melt and pour soap colored at a rate of 1 tsp. per pound of soap. Color will appear pastel and less vibrant in opaque melt and pour soap bases.

"Not brown. "

COMMENTS: Not chocolate. Not brown. Definitely not chocolate brown. It’s a beautiful steel color. But, not even a little bit brown. I ruined two batches of chocolate chunk soap. Should’ve tested first. Don’t make my mistake.

"CCs Chocolate Brown Mica Powder"

COMMENTS: Lovely shades of brown from deepest dark chocolate to a soft creamy chocolate milk. Was so easy - blended evenly, easily. This one added just the right touch to my dessert themed soaps and to my coffee soaps. A little goes a long way. Just what I needed - thanks WSP!

	"It came out concrete gray!"
COMMENTS: I was so excited to use this mica. It is so rich and beautiful in the container but when I mixed it into my recipe it turned gray! So, thinking that maybe I needed to add more to make it more brown I continued to add and it just kept turning a darker and darker gray until I was at a deep storm cloud color. Thankfully it was a very small test batch but still- I could barely believe my eyes. Be wary with this one.

	"Perfect color to simulate dirt for pumpkin patch. "
COMMENTS: I used this color with clear M&P and poured it at the bottom of my basic 1501 mold to make "dirt" for my pumpkin patch. I used the pumpkin column mold and it fits perfectly into the basic 1501 mold on top of the base of "dirt." I finished it with white M&P Over the entire pumpkin filling the mold. It came out great. This color could also be used in a swirl in coffee soap.

"Turns gray"

COMMENTS: Used this Chocolate Brown Mica Powder in MP three butter base. It turned gray. Tried again using Goats Milk MP base. Same result, gray. Very disappointed with the result. Not even close to brown and a not very attractive gray color. I would never buy this product again. It ruined two different batches of soap.

	"Turns gray!!! :("
COMMENTS: This mica is beautiful on its own...a very rich warm brown. Problem is, when I mixed it in my soap it turns this weird gray. It took me by surprise and I ended up having to find another color to mix in to bring the color back to brown. I tried using it for a pencil line so I hope that turns out ok. I did mix it with some oil and did a swirl on the top of one of my soaps and that looks beautiful. I wouldn't buy this again when I wanted a deep brown. The search continues!

COMMENTS: Looks incredible in the bag but turned grey mixed directly into my m&p. (3 butter detergent free) Next time will try mixing with glycerin before adding to base and will be using in CP soon too. The color is too good to give up on.
