Soothing & Relaxing

"This smells exactly like Plant Therapy's Rapid Relief essential oil blend. Peppermint, clove, cinnamon, german chamomile, ginger, thyme, juniper. Smells like it is melting stress away. Haven't made a candle yet so we will see how it performs."

LOVE!!??

"I don’t know what I was expecting with this FO and I am not normally a patchouli fan, but the more I smelled this as I was working with it the more I couldn’t get enough! It smells like a magical brew of wonderfulness, it fits perfectly with my Halloween themed soap and I can’t wait to use it in other products. Behaves beautifully in CP."

Great for lip butters

"These are my favorite lip butter and scrub containers. I love that it comes in a set, and they are the perfect size. This set is shorter than some of the other lip pots I've used, which i personally prefer."

Q&A

Do you know if this would work well in candles?
This can be used in candles. We have not tested its performance.
I am going to use this fragrance oil soon. The recommended usage rate is 6%...I know some soapmakers use more than that for various reasons. Is that safe to do and would it do any harm to go a little over the amount suggested? Thanks you.
Never go over IFRA maximums. Besides opening yourself up to liability lawsuits, the m&p soap base (and other mediums) has been created to handle certain amounts, and may not perform properly.

I think you'll find that for most oils thus is a very strong scent. I would start out at 3% and go from there keeping I mind that scent is sometimes stronger after the soap has cooled.

If 6% is not enough to scent your soap, you may have other issues such as a poor quality/expired scent oil or adding at far too hot of a temp. I rarely use even 5%.

I do not go over the IFRA level if its for selling a product to a consumer, as you are walking into liability issues. You always want to make sure your products will remain safe for your consumer.
