This is a great kit!

"I love this kit. The soaps came amount great, and my customers really like the way they look. The luffa powder makes a really nice texture in the soap for exfoliating - it's not too rough, but it does the trick. And it make a nice ""sandy beach"" effect in the soap design. I really like the Coconut Milk Fragrance that comes with it too - very subtle, sweet (but not too sweet) coconut smell that stays well on the skin. I'm in love! I will be buying this kit again and again!"

"I bought this kit based on looks hoping as a newbie it was something I could handle; and it was very easy to do! "I can't be happier or say enough good things about this kit. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, thus taking a lot of the guesswork out of the process, especially for having never worked with luffa powder before. The kit came with more than enough supply to complete the project and I still had plenty left over for experimenting with other designs using the same materials. What could be used instead of luffa powder?: Finely ground oatmeal might work and would probably be the closest in color to the luffa, if you want to keep the beachy look.
Is there an alternative colorant that can be used to make these bars that is paraben-free and not affect the look or performance of these bars? If so, what would you recommend?: If you would like a similar color we would recommend the Matte Teal Green Liquid Pigment, http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/products/matte-teal-green-liquid-pigment.aspx. This color also comes in a soap color bar and in powder form. A small amount of color added to the opaque soap base should give you a similar shade.
Can I use a different base and add coconut oil to the base? If I can which base should use? I just ordered the detergent free soap sampler.: Hi Karen, You may substitute the detergent free coconut soap base with any of our soap bases as well as add in additional oils such as the coconut oil but it will change the consistency of the final product. We have not tested any of these variations so we suggest testing the product first.
