"Just okay"

COMMENTS: I really hate to be critical of WSP products because they are almost always excellent. But I have to be honest that I didn't love this scent. It found it to have a pretty significant chemical-like smell that overwhelms anything redolent of a cupcake. I would like to acknowledge that it behaves well in CP soap, though. That's always a plus in my book. On the whole, I think I will be able to find another cakey type scent that I personally like better.

"Eh."

COMMENTS: I used this to make “vanilla and sprinkles” soap donuts. I didn’t smell it until I was about to use it and I was disappointed. It just smells like frosting, not so much like cake. I was hoping it was be a good “vanilla cake” type of fragrance, but it’s not. It’s not a bad scent, just not what I wanted. It does fade to a slightly lighter scent (it really wasn’t that strong to begin with). So, not bad, but not what I had in mind.

"Smells GREAT!"

COMMENTS: I used this in some melt and pour soap and it was the perfect cupcake scent. It smelled like a freshly baked vanilla cupcake & held it's scent weeks later. It mixed in very well. I could not tell if it darkened my cold process soap because I added red mica as a colorant. I can hardly wait to try it in a batch of cold process soap to see if it retains the wonderful cupcake scent like it did in the melt and pour soap. COMMENTS: The fragrance is absolutely spot on! Super sweet, I'm talking "bought it in a the grocery store bakery and got a tooth ache just smelling it" sweet! It's exactly what I needed. I blended it with "Champagne kisses", a few essential oils, chucked in a stick of cinnamon and let it brew (I just got started mixing my own fragrances... so I haven't learned any of the rules yet...). The result was sublime! The only real downside I can think of is that right out of the bottle, it smelled REALLY strongly of chemicals. Don't let this dissuade you. That wretched chemical smell goes away once you put it into something!

"Nice... but BEWARE"

COMMENTS: The smell is AWESOME !!!! However because of the vanilla contact it discolored my HOT PROCESS soaps horribly. By the next day it looked as if I had made chocolate soap.

Thank you for your review. We agree, this smells YUMMY! If you'd want your product to be lighter, or white, with the 14% Vanilla content, we suggest using the Crafter's Choice Vanilla Color Stabilizer. The stabilizer prevents the vanilla in fragrance oils from turning formulations brown. It will not prevent color changes due to ingredients other than vanilla. It works really well - we use it often. In case you haven't done this already, as a suggestion for you - some customers use the discoloration to their advantage and will market it as a chocolate cupcake instead of wasting the product.

"A Good Fragrance"

COMMENTS: I use this all the time for my cupcake bath bombs. My Husband hates when I use it because he thinks I am baking cupcakes! I haven't had any browning in my soaps from it either.

Thank you for your review. We agree, this smells YUMMY! "HUGE hit "

COMMENTS: This is a HUGE hit with the kids. Make sure you use Vanilla Color Stabilizer with it. I put small pieces of left over soap from other projects. I thought I would just let my kids use this and not sell it because I figured all the other scents from the left overs would mix in. But the cupcake took over and you can't tell. I did forget the VCS however, and it's turning a little brown.

Thank you for your review. Yes, with the 14% Vanilla content, the Crafter's Choice Vanilla Color Stabilizer is needed or else the product will turn brown. As a suggestion, since you forgot the stabilizer in your batch, if it's not too late, you may want to market it as something chocolate and use the brown coloring to your advantage instead of wasting the product.

	"Perfect Blender"
COMMENTS: Love this scent. Not really buttery, more like real cake. Blends well with so many gourmand fragrances and adds a smooth (not too sweet) dimension to them. This and the Vanilla Bean Noel are my standby mixers for several of my custom scents.

COMMENTS: Oh my GOSH!!! This scent smells soooo good and smells just like as yellow cupcake. I made cupcake M& P soaps...it scented my whole kitchen and my daughter thought I was actually baking cupcakes! You won't go wrong with this scent. Don't forget to use the Vanilla Stabilizer (equal amount to FO) or your soap will turn brown.

COMMENTS: Smells like a real cupcake! My husband thinks I am making cupcakes when I am mixing a batch of MP cupcakes. I suggest using yellow to color it since it turns the white base a little yellow. I have used the vanilla stabilizer with excellent results. Very long lasting.

COMMENTS: I have been looking for a cake scent that isn't overwhelmingly almond. I love this one. True Yellow cake scent. A best seller. You do need the stabilizer due to the vanilla content but that's no big deal.

COMMENTS: This is hands down my favorite scent and a best seller. Your whole house will smell like fresh-baked cupcakes. A warning though: You must use vanilla stabilizer if you plan to use this scent in your MP soaps or they will turn a dark brown.
