Additional Information
Our American Citrus Melt and Pour Soap Base is a detergent free base. This transparent soap base has an orange hue and smells lightly of sweet blood orange and tangerine. The ten-pound block makes (40) 4 oz. bars of soap and measures 12" x 11" x 2.25". This soap has a creamy bubble lather.

Directions & Ingredients
International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients (INCI):
Sorbitol, Sodium Cocoate, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Stearate, Glycerin, Citrus Tangerina (Tangerine) Oil, Citrus Sinesis (Blood Orange) Peel Oil, Ascorbic Acid.

Common Name Ingredient Listing (FDA Approved):
Sorbitol, Coconut Oil, Propylene Glycol, Stearic Acid, Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Glycerin, Tangerine Essential Oil, Blood Orange Essential Oil, Vitamin C.

Directions:
MELT: Determine amount of melt and pour soap base needed for your project. Carefully slice soap base into small pieces and place in microwave safe container. Heat on low at 30 second intervals. Stir between intervals until liquid. Handle hot soap carefully as it may burn the skin. Soap can also be melted in a double boiler.

MOLD: Stir in cosmetic color, cosmetic scent, and skin safe additives. Pour into a Crafter's Choice or Milky Way soap mold. Spritz soap surface with rubbing alcohol to remove bubbles. Allow to cool until hard.

ENJOY: Remove from mold and wrap with airtight plastic wrap. Your newly created melt and pour soap is now ready to use!

CAUTION: Melted soap is hot! For ages 15 and older.

"Under the Heading ADDITIONAL INFORMATION it says no need to wrap the finished soap. Under the heading DIRECTIONS & INSTRUCTIONS it says to wrap tightly in airtight wrap. WHICH IS IT?"

"Awesome"
COMMENTS:  I wasn’t sure if I would like this base or not so I decided to give it a try. Bam! It’s awesome! I love how it has the light citrus scent but it’s not hard to add other oils to blend in with it, like lavender. Lavender blends well with this soap base. I also like that it’s detergent free but it still lathers up great. It’s a fresh, clean & clear soap base that I will definitely use again & again.

"Great soap"
COMMENTS:  Omg just love this soap, smells great with slight orange scent. I added some tangerine butter blend to it, and it smells so good. Is so smooth on the skin, darkens the color alittlle more orange so gives it a deeper orange color. Everyone has loved it... its a winner for sure..

"American Citrus Soap"
COMMENTS:  I cannot say enough about this wonderfully awesome soap! Cuts smoothly, melts quickly, and has this great light scent of orange and tangerine. Just right, not overwhelming. Very clear with a nice amber color. I'm considering making this the main focus soap of my shop its so unique. Great product!

COMMENTS:  I just ordered 10 lbs to check this out and already used almost the whole order. I love the scent. It is mild, so I did add a little more essential oil and I noticed that without adding color, it was a frosted ecru color. It didn't come out clear for me but it was nice. I like adding a bit of color though.
