Reviews

One of the best choices

"One of the best choices for moisturizing, very soft and creamy melts easily will hold a scent mixes well with other butters Just have to be careful which one you choose, refined or unrefined because it will smell strongly and scents will not overpower it"

"Best soap base I’ve found! Very moisturizing and doesnt cause irritation"

Not opaque

"For me, this is horrid I made 3 loaves and could not use a one. The color is translucent not white opaque and if you add shreds or embeds there is not contast as it is not ""white"" more a creamy texture and color. May be great fo skin but horrid for design. They should mention it is translucent one the site would never have bought so much. Had to go to Micheals and buy expensive cheap white to mix with it to get opaque."

Sandra (2/5)

Great Product.

"This is my new base for all my M&P. I love that it is detergent free. The block can be a little intimidating when you get it, but with a little practice, it is not too difficult to cut into. I live in the deep south and it can stay a little softer than detergent but I think it is a fair trade off. Highly recommend!"

Frances (5/5)

Super easy

"Great soap to use. Easy to to use to make your own fun soaps, with your own scents, and your own colors (use powder mixed with glycerin bases though). I am selling these as a fundraiser for a charity and all the ones I screw up on I use, my wife loves it, lol."

"This soap base is amazing all on it's own. I don't add any colorants or fragrances. I simply melt it and pour it into WSP square silicone mold. GREAT STUFF!!!"

Q&A

does this contain palm oil? it doesn't say palm oil in the ingredients tab but it mentions it in the "Featured ingredients"
This soap base contains ingredients that are derived from palm oil.
Which ingredients are derived from palm oil?
The stearic acid is palm-derived and the glycerin can be, depending on the vegetable source.
Hi!I've got a customer who's allergic to corn, & she wants to know if the glycerine in this soap base is derived from corn. I couldn't find anything on the site, so I'm asking here. Many thanks!
The glycerin in our soap bases is vegetable derived. We recommend consulting a physician prior to using.
I would like to add jojoba, argan or other high end carrier oil to this base for label appeal. Do you have a suggestion for the maximum amount of oil that can be added. I will also be adding fragrance at 2%. Thank you.
The maximum amount of additives is 6%, including fragrance. We recommend testing the soap if adding an oil as this can decrease the lather in the soap base.
Can you melt down just the amount you need. I came across a video you made on goats Milk body wash and the video showed a gallon of licquid but you sell in a sold bar to melt down? I'm a little confused. Thank you
These are two different products you are referring to. The video for the Goats Milk Body Wash uses the Liquid Suspension Soap Base: http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/products/liquid-suspension-soap-base.aspx. The DF Shea Butter Soap is a Melt and Pour Base. It is solid soap which you can melt down, add fragrance and color and pour into a mold.
