Seized Immediately

"The smell is nice, but seized immediately. This scent is not suitable for swirls or designs. I had to just smash in the layers and hope it will look okay when cut."

Jessica (2/5)

Seized

"Where to start. Out of the bottle, it smells AMAZING. I only smell strong cinnamon in the cured soap. It appeared to behave hand stirring it in, but it seized as soon as I stopped stirring it. It would work for layers, but hand stir it in and pour while stirring and VERY QUICKLY. A little goes a long way, you don't need to use the max skin safe."

Eric (2/5)

Acceleration!!

"I bought this fragrance knowing it would accelerate my soap batter but didn't know just how much. I was prepared and was able to get my soap into the mold, but barely. If you buy this fragrance and get the batch I did, beware!! Other than that, it smells very good; appley and cinnamon it is my favorite fall smell. Very strong also."

Lydia (3/5)

Work quickly

"You have to work quickly. As soon as fragrance was added it seized up. I would not suggest splitting colors and planning swirls with this fragrance."

Vicki (2/5)

So rich and warm. . . .

"I cant get enough of this scent. I usually use it in the fall/winter, but I may soap with it all year round."

Fran (5/5)

Absolutely perfect!

"I am in love with this scent! I find myself going back multiple times to sniff the bottle and the gorgeous soaps I made with it. It is very bright, sweet and cheery and a great fall inspired classic! In MP soap it behaves perfectly and the scent throw is fantastic- you don't have to use that much fragrance to get a great smelling soap. In my CP batch, I did notice just a hint of acceleration but it was no big deal, the soap came out just lovely. I love apple scents and this one is definitely a scent that will be staying in our store!"

Kira (5/5)

Bold & Bright

"OOB, this cider has quite the bite! Its' scent mimics true farmhouse cider straight from the cider barrel. I happen to love cider so I was eager to use this one right away in CP and M&P. In both applications, the scent stayed strong and true. In CP, it did not rice or discolor. This fragrance oil may accelerate trace so watch for that. Great one for your fall and winter scent lines."

Fall favorite!!

"A scent you must have in your craft rooms! Nothing better then the smell of fall lingering in your house :) works great in all products"

Rose (5/5)

Excellent scent throw

"Absolutely love this fragrance, used in MP soap & sold out at a craft show this past weekend. everyone loved it. Can't wait to make more & use in other products."

Q&A

Did the formula change on this fragrance or was the IFRA rates changed? I bought this fragrance last year and soap usage was something ridiculously low, under 1% if I remember correctly. Now it's just over 8%.
IFRA rates were updated on 5/18/2022 to reflect the 50th amendment.
Hi - with the IFRA Maxium skin exposure being so low on this FO, is it enough to scent CP soaps? Or have people mixed with other oils to increase the scent? Thank you!
You might want to blend this with another fragrance because the IFRA is so low. Cider Lane FO 868 or Spiked Cider FO 526 are also great scents with much higher IFRA's.
What is the IFRA percent for soap and sugar scrubs?
IFRA information for all fragrances is listed on our site right under the description. Here is a link to this fragrance oil: http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/products/farmhouse-cider-fragrance-oil.aspx. This particular fragrance has a very low IFRA percentage for skin care products.
Is Farmhouse Cider Fragrance Oil compatible with soy wax?
You would need to test this, but you should be able to use any of our fragrances in candle wax.
How do you determine how much FO (or EO) to use to make bath bombs/fizzies? Your IFRA Max Skin Exposure levels only include: Body Lotion, Wash, Powder, Soap, Face Cream, Baby, Perfume, Deodorant, Lip... Which do you go by?
The safe usage rates for bath fizzies are the same as soap. For this fragrance it would be 0.1%.
