It worked fine, but it would be great if the instructions included an alternative method. Labels or a link to printable labels would also be a helpful addition, especially since many people use these kits for gifts or testing out products. One small note: the link in the instructions for the recipe goes to an error page — adding an “s” to “recipes” fixes it. Overall, this was a fun, easy project, and I’ll definitely be looking at more kits in the future."

wouldn't these melt in the sun when placed in a window? i keep seeing these popping up places as room refresheners but i would think they would melt or rub against stuff and get wax on things?: We haven't had an issue with this since these are pure beeswax. Beeswax melts around 145°F so as long as it doesn't get to that temperature these will not melt.
Could I add an alternative set of instructions to the labeling for use of this product as a wax melt, too? Would I need to add any other ingredients to make it more suitable as a wax melt?: You could advertise these as wax melts or put them into a different mold if you like. The recipe would be the same.
