Avoid for CP soap!
"I used this at the bare minimum level and my soap IMMEDIATELY became a pile of rocks. I expect florals to misbehave so I blended for maybe a moment and the batch went neon yellow and the texture of a failed batch of soap dough. There was no time to add color or to even get it in the mold. Batch totally ruined. Very disappointed at the ""slight acceleration"" rating, especially after reading other people had similar results. Huge pass for me."

Love this scent!
"This is a great, versatile scent. It is a very strong smell, so you only have to use very little, which is a huge plus for me. It has a great throw in candles and works great in bath and body products as well. The scent is very nice too--a customer described it as ""smelling like the entire hyacinth, not just the flowery part"". I do agree with this, it doesn't smell like every other floral scent, it has a much ""fuller"" fragrance. I have used this several different products-- lotion, soy candles, sugar scrubs, liquid soap, bar soap, linen sprays, etc and it has always performed really well. I highly recommend this scent!"

Hyacinth
"This is a very nice fragrance and two ounces worked well in my 42 ounce mold to produce a very fragrant soap. This did not seize at all like some of the other hyacinth fragrance oils I've purchased from other fragrance companies in the past. It works up quickly, so the soapmaker's action plan must be to work fast in either layers, or for a solid color soap. I made mine with Brazilian purple clay and Pink Himalayan salts, with just a tiny touch of purple oxide in the clay to increase color. My customers don't want the dyes on their skin, so I have to limit the amount of dye I use. With a colorful label, this sold out almost immediately. The muddy purple of the clay mixed with a little salt made a very interesting bar. Customers loved it, and that's the bottom line!"

Great in CP Soap
"This FO works great in CP soap and holds fragrance well. Our customers love the scent. We also use in lotion bars and bath salt."

Accelerates for sure
"***WSP needs to review their ""good for CP soap"" recommendations - some of these test results are obviously wrong. ***I bought this FO based on the fact that it was included in the ""Good for CP Soap"" list and the CP test results said it behaved. I get it home and go look further into the reviews for this FO and discover that it does, in fact, accelerate. So I soaped at room temperature, used a fluid recipe and only zapped with the stick blender for like 2 seconds. I also made the soap entirely one color instead of attempting a swirl. All that and I still barely had time to get it into the mold before it was set up. I was able to texture the top immediately after pouring, that's how thick it got just in the time it took to pour. CP Soap Buyer Beware."

C. C. Hyacinth Fragrance Oil
"Lovely! Its hard to find a true hyacinth scent that isn't too sweet or cloying. This is just right, light and fresh. Love it!"

Beware of acceleration
"Loved the scent. Couldn't wait to make a tri-color swirl CP soap. After mixing my oils/lye w/o trace, added the Hyacinth FO, turned on the stick blender and it accelerated immediately to a thick trace and also started ricing. I could only plop them in a mold. I'm curious about the stability in creams/lotions/liquid soap."

Very pretty scent
"This has a beautiful smell but extremely difficult to work with in cold process soap. It seized almost immediately. I will continue to use but only in lotions."
