| COMMENTS: This scent smells like it would be light OOB, but it holds up in a candle and has a lovely medium throw in coconut-soy wax. This isn't a fragrance to sleep on, it is a watery accord and could work for a spa or rustic fragrance. Has been a staple of my collection for many years. "Beautiful, fresh & clean! " | ||||||
| COMMENTS: I've never been to the Kentish Coast, nor smelled the rain there, but if it smells like this FO, I'll be on the next plane out! The scent is fresh, clean & ozonic, while carrying both feminine & masculine notes that harmonize beautifully! This FO needed something special, so for my lye solution I used a blend of coconut water, coconut milk & beer. Some FO's don't play well with beer bases, but this one smelled scrumptious! Using a recipe comprised of 65% hard oils, 8% castor, kaolin clay & a liquid discount of 2:1, I had no issues whatsoever with acceleration! Keeping temps low, working at thin trace & adding this FO after my colors I think helped a lot with providing ample time to play. I used a color blend of titanium dioxide to color one portion white, and another teal. The only issue I ran into was that as soon as I added this FO to the teal portion, it immediately riced, but not with the TD portion, so I believe the teal mica had an influence in that. Regardless, I was able to easily smooth it back out just by hand-stirring, so when it comes to behavior in CP, it did very well! This is a lovely rain-type fragrance I would absolutely purchase again! | |||||||

"Nice neutral scent" | ||||||
| COMMENTS: I really liked the scent out of the bottle. It reminded me of a candle fragrance I had when I was younger. I made a small batch of hot processed soap with it. My oils were fairly warm and when I added my fragrance & lye, it did seem pretty thick right away. I'm not sure how it would handle in CP, with lower temps. I plan on making a batch of CP shaving soap with it. I think it will go great with my shaving line | |||||||
