Details

For melt and pour soap, pour at no hotter than 135°F, cool until hardened, then unmold—freezing briefly and dipping the mold bottom in warm water if needed. For cold process soap, lightly coat the mold with cooking spray, pour at trace, unmold after 24 hours, and cure 4–8 weeks; add sodium lactate if your recipe stays soft. For lotion bars, pour melted mixture (no hotter than 135°F), allow to solidify, then press the back of the mold to release. Wash molds in warm, soapy water and avoid dishwashers to prevent warping.

"I like the design, the size, and the shape. I did have trouble getting my soap out. . . which is unusual for me. It may be because I did NOT water discount my recipe this time. And I did not add S. L. this time either. I'm guessing these two changes from my norm are the culprit. Milky Way molds are usually very easy to work with and this design should not be a problem. It still, even though my soap looked a bit rough. . . people still liked it."
