Unfortunately, what I received was a major let down—and honestly, it hurt my feelings. Instead of the soft, sweet vanilla notes I associate with marshmallow, this fragrance smells overwhelmingly like peppermint and chocolate. It’s loud, sharp, and completely misses the mark on the cozy, creamy marshmallow vibe I was hoping for. Marshmallow should evoke warmth and softness—not a rich, chocolaty punch. I don’t even know where to begin. When my WSP order arrived yesterday, I was practically vibrating with excitement. I tore into that box like a kid on Christmas morning, ready to whip up my signature body scrub with the Peppermint & Marshmallow fragrance oil I’d been dreaming about. But what I got? A betrayal in a bottle. The moment I opened it, my heart sank. Instead of the soft, creamy vanilla hug of marshmallow wrapped in a cool peppermint breeze, I was assaulted by a loud, brash peppermint-chocolate combo that had no business calling itself “marshmallow. ” Marshmallow is supposed to be gentle. Sweet. Nostalgic. This? This was a peppermint patty crashing a slumber party. I stood there in my kitchen, stunned. Years—yes, years—since I’ve been this disappointed in a fragrance oil. I had plans. I had visions. And now I have a bottle of heartbreak masquerading as a scent. If you’re looking for a cozy, vanilla-forward marshmallow dream, keep walking. This one missed the mark so hard it’s orbiting another planet."

Better than the rest

"Hi thank you so much. I have to purchase many of these candles from a well known business just so I can have them for the year as they are seasonal. I've tried to make candles with this fragrance from other companies. Your fragrance almost had me in joyful tears, I can enjoy this throughout the year. I made the candle let it cure for about five days and when I lit it within three minutes the throw was so strong. thank you again."
