Excellent!

"I have been using this for years for my homemade hydrosols. It works great at preventing mildew and mold. Pay attention to the proper percentage and you will be fine."

Q&A

I'm making stress dough with some water going into my flour and salt then heating over the stove. The end product will have some water content even though it will create a solid dough. How and when would I add leucidal into the product as to not kill the efficacy when heating on the stove and to thoroughly incorporate it?
Leucidal is stable to 60°C (140°F) and should be added during cool down. Incorporate at temperatures lower than 70 ̊C and a pH between 3 and 8. For color applications, try spraying the product on the pigments along with other ingredients such as binders.
Can this be used in a face wash formula?
Yes
Can this be used with a whipped soap base made from scratch? Then made into a sugar scrub? Any other preservatives needed?
We recommend Preservative Water Soluble PF.
Can I use this at 2% in my water base face mask. Thanks
Yes, this should work for a water based face mask. We have not tested this so you will still have to do your own testing.
Can this preserver be used by itself in a lotion or should it be used with AMTicide coconut? Why are the other two Leucidal SF and Leucidal max used along with AMTicide coconut?
We are following the recommendations of the manufacturer. Since these are natural preservatives, you need the combination of the two preservatives for them to be the most effective.
