COMMENTS: I was excited when I learned there was an all natural preservative for my lotions. When I started working with it I quickly found out it thickens your lotion much too quickly. You will need a syringe or a pump or a dessert decorator tool of some sort to pump it into your bottles.
It makes the lotion too thick to use the petite treatment top, but does ok with the top that comes with the malibu bottles.
My next recipe I may try leaving the stearic acid out and see how thick my lotion becomes.
As the description indicated it does add additional conditioning and moisturizing properties to my lotion recipe.
As an organic farmer and bee keeper and an author for how to make natural skin care, I will continue to add it to all my lotions.
