Love this!

"Just added to my line and people are really liking them."

?????????? Unique, Creamy, and Surprisingly Elegan

"An unexpected but very pleasant combination. The chocolate note is smooth and creamy, not artificial, and the lavender keeps it balanced and sophisticated. Works well in specialty soaps and candles. Definitely a standout fragrance for customers looking for something different."

FRANK (5/5)

The best butter

"I swapped out the fragrance. My final product came out exactly like the body butters Victoria's Secret used to sell. Amazing!"

Jocelyn (5/5)

Wonderful flavor

"Love the flavor!"

Pleasantly Surprised. . .

"I usually make conditioner from scratch so when I saw this it was exciting. A premix that is really that simple? Yes, it is. Lovely conditioner that is very customizable."

Heather (5/5)

Great Scrub!

"Wonderful scrub! Not too harsh but still exfoliating. I use it myself and I love it. The butter and oils leave the skin feel smooth and silk. I didn't use the mica included in the kit, mostly because I forgot, but the lemon EO makes the scrub a gentle yellow, so if you don't want to add color you'll be fine."

Oliver (5/5)

Wonferful scent

"A very nice scent to add to Fall collections! Used in CP soap, it performs so nice. The scent will stay true for many weeks."

Joan (5/5)

OMG These Are AWESOME!

"These clamshells are easy to use and save so much time. I am kind of upset with myself for not purchasing them sooner. I saved so much time with these because you simply pour, cool, close and label. I'm Hooked!"

So far so good

"I needed a faster way to take soap temps so I decided to buy this thermometer. Wow, does it measure temp really fast. We're talking 2 seconds? It's durable and easy to read. All you have to do is install a battery and it's ready to go."

I'm in love!

"I am so in love with this product. All bottles have been packed and sold and my home still smells as if they were just made. This is an easy product to make. I bought shrink wrap for the bottle to make customers feel safe about tampering of any sort. The shrink wrap is near invisible and did not take away from the beauty of the bottle. I do encourage you to buy extra salt. To fill all 12 bottles, each would be slightly more than half full. I cannot justify giving a little amount and still make a profit. I added an extra 1-1/2 pounds of salt and had eleven adequately filled and one only 1/4 of the way full. I will definitely buy this kit again."

Q&A

I got a few butter kits to test out how to make them and now I want to move to just ordering the ingredients separately vs buying the kits. I just want to know which one of these is better to use in butter making Slick Fix - Oil Locking Powder or Tapioca Starch and why. Thanks
Tapioca Starch or Slick Fix is used to offset the greasy feeling of the butters. Any starch will help do this. You can use what you have or what you like best.
Can I add paraben-free preservative Sorbic Acid+2PF in this lotion at 0.16 oz?
There is no water in this recipe, so you do not need to add a preservative. If you would like to add a preservative, Sorbic Acid +2 can be added .75% to 1.5%.
I would like to substitute horsetail butter for hemp seed butter, the oil for hemp seed oil, and tapioca starch for arrowroot powder. With these substitutions, what would be the best preservative and how much should I add? I plan to sell these and would like the added benefit of a preservative. Thank you!
You can makes any substitutions you would like, be sure to test your recipe in small batches. If you want to add a preservative Phenonip is formulated for oil based products, use at a rate of .5% to 1%.
Could hyaluronic acid powder be added to this? If using any water-soluble additives, would an emulsifier need to be added (like shea50)?
We have not tested hyaluronic acid powder in this recipe.
What can I substitute horsetail butter with?
You can sub it for most of our butter blends, such as Macadamia Butter Blend or Avocado Butter Blend.
