Some people smell mango most do not
"When I first smelled the fragrance in the jar it was sorta like the smell of markers, however this didn't deter me because i have experienced scent changes after a product was made and so I made half my batch and while I was making it, the perfect mango scent finally bloomed! however after the soap cured for several weeks it shifted into more of a clay scent with a hint of sweetness. I thought my nose was just burnt out so I got several opinions from others. One smelled mango properly and the other smelled clay with a hint of ""something"" like me. . so I suppose at least for cold process soaps you might want to go for a different fragrance but I have a small theory that IF its ok in a candle it might be perfect in that because the perfect mango smell happened as I was making the soap and a couple days after. . . maybe the ""heat"" plays a role?!"
