Details

For melt and pour soap, pour at no hotter than 135°F, cool until hardened, then unmold—freezing briefly and dipping the mold bottom in warm water if needed. For cold process soap, lightly coat the mold with cooking spray, pour at trace, unmold after 24 hours, and cure 4–8 weeks; add sodium lactate if your recipe stays soft. For lotion bars, pour melted mixture (no hotter than 135°F), allow to solidify, then press the back of the mold to release. Wash molds in warm, soapy water and avoid dishwashers to prevent warping.

"This is a very nice mold! It's different from most of the Milky Way molds I'm used to, in that it has a less ""hand-carved"" look to it. The cuts are very precise -- definitely fine and less rustic. The details are exquisite, the bars unmold like a dream (as with all Milky Way molds), and the mold is perfectly balanced (i. e. , it won't tip when you pour just one cavity), very strong (yet flexible enough), and will last for years. Thank you for offering almost the ENTIRE catalog!"

"I sell Essential Oil based soaps. This mold has detail and finished product looks great. One of my biggest sellers. I personally find it difficult to pour the OM in a different color, it would look a lot better if I could. If the symbol were deeper it would eliminate my having to hand paint the OM symbol. Aside from that, a great mold. I am very happy with my purchase."
