Product Details

Orange Salsa Mica Powder is a shimmering orange red cosmetic powder that is safe to color cosmetics. In clear soap this mica produces a beautiful orange color similar to the color of Mexican salsa served on Cinco de Mayo.

The pictured lotus blossom is clear melt and pour soap colored at a rate of 1 tsp. per pound of soap. Color will appear pastel and less vibrant in opaque melt and pour soap bases.

COMMENTS: This is my favorite orange mica! I like to use this in custom brown blends. It adds a richness to browns, giving them more of a chocolate color. I especially love it in my brown eyeshadows!

COMMENTS: I have tried it several times and if your soap gels, you end up with a beige color. It only stays orange in my recipe if I don't let it gel. But even then, it's a crap shoot. I won't buy this again.

"orange salsa mica"

COMMENTS: I used this mica in bath bombs. Once mixed with the white bath bomb mixture, the final color is peach instead of orange. I have not tried it in soap. I would order it again. It has a shimmer to it.

"gorgeous!"

I'm in love with this color. in lotion a little turns creamy orange like the dripping from a creamcicle. its bright and stays vibrant in clear nail polish bases. COMMENTS: I used this orange for some of my most recent bath bombs. It is seriously gorgeous! I rubbed it between my fingers and couldn't get over how silky it felt! I also used it with some rubbing alcohol to paint little oranges on top. Turned out wonderfully!!
