Details

Cut soap base into small pieces, and melt in the microwave at 30-second intervals (or use a double boiler), stirring until fully liquefied. Once melted, add cosmetic color, fragrance, and other skin-safe additives—this base can hold up to 5% total additives—then pour the mixture into a Crafter’s Choice mold and spritz the surface with rubbing alcohol to reduce bubbles. Allow the soap to cool completely before unmolding, then wrap it in airtight plastic wrap to preserve freshness. Melted soap is hot and should be used with caution; recommended for ages 15 and older.

Open box shipped with exposed soap?

"If I’m mistaken I’m happy to revise my rating. When I opened the shipping box containing the 10 lb block of Premium Three Butter Plus Soap the interior box lids were folded back leaving the box wide open. The block of soap was completely exposed with dirt/dust particles on top. The surface was bubbly. I’ve always ordered the 2 lb block which ships in a closed container and, by comparison, this doesn’t seem right. I tried to call the customer service number but there is no way to reach customer service - no voicemail, only direction to send an email. Is this the proper packaging? I have pictures but am unable to submit with this review."
