Crystal clear with an unpleasant layer

"This shipment didn't get my 5 stars. I usually order the crystal clear base and love it. It is usually easy to get unpackaged, it cuts easily and soaps beautifully. This order was on back order for over a month. Upon opening it, I was dismayed to see that layer of foamy, bubbly mess all over the bottom. As I was removing the plastic bag from the soap base the icky layer kept breaking up and getting everywhere. What a mess. I gave this 4 stars because I'm sure the soap itself will be the usual quality. If not I will be back to share but for now, I have a huge clean up to take care of."

Q&A

Can you add TD to this to make it white? I have 23 pounds and want to make bath crayons which call for a white base soap.
Yes, add color to a small amount of liquid glycerin. Mix well. Then add amount desired to melted soap base. Adding more will produce a darker color.
Is the pro clear soap base considered to be all natural? Also is the white pro soap base considered to be all natural? Thank you for the help.
Our soap bases are not considered to be all natural.
Where does this rank on the clarity scale? compared to the other clears which are 9/10 and 10/10 clarity that you offer?

Hello, I'd like to get clarification. On Aug 19, 2013 a customer asked what is the difference between this base and the pro base clear.An answer was given explaining the differences. What I don't understand is, this IS the pro base clear. So how was an answer given about the same product?
This question was originally asked about the Basic Clear MP Base and this Pro Base Clear. Since it also pertained to the Pro Base Clear, it was added iunder that soap base. We will clarify the answer so it makes more sense. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
What is the percentage of essential oil I can add ?
The maximum amount of additives for MP soap is 6%. If adding fragrance and essential oil, we recommend adding 3% but you can go higher if the scent is too weak.
