Product Details

Purple Galaxy Mica Powder is a shimmering purple cosmetic colorant safe for use in cosmetics. This mica produces a deep purple color that astronauts may see as they stare off into the cosmos at twinkling stars.

The pictured lotus blossom is clear melt and pour soap colored at a rate of 1 tsp. per pound of soap. Color will appear pastel and less vibrant in opaque melt and pour soap bases.

"Beautiful shade"

COMMENTS: I added a little more than I usually would to get it slightly darker for my bath bomb. It turned out beautiful! It's like a dark lavender. Mixed with the blue and lime green mixture and it just popped. Love it!I scented it with lemongrass and sage. It's just so realxing.

COMMENTS: Great shade of purple in CP! Reminds me of a lilac, hyacinth or lavender shade of purple. Would look gorgeous in any floral-themed soap & a whole lot more! It's the perfect shade for Spring & is true to color (what you see in the package is what you get in your soap), no morphing or fading. I recently tried a similar shade of purple from a different supplier & was so disappointed with the results. When mixed with a bit of carrier oii, it looked stunning, but when added to my soap, it was super muted, & turned into a VERY light shade of pastel purple, where no amount of adding more would intensify it... I found myself wasting far too much of it, just to end up with the same shade of barely-there purple. It was disheartening, but also confirmed to me that WSP's mica are of superior quality, and just 1tsp/PPO of this mica produced vibrant, beautiful results that were true to what the color SHOULD be! For a gorgeous, TRUE shade of happy, floral, Spring-like purple, you won't be disappointed in this lovely color! In my CPOP batch, it "popped", and I am loving the results!
