Details

For melt and pour soap, pour at no hotter than 135°F, cool until hardened, then unmold—freezing briefly and dipping the mold bottom in warm water if needed. For cold process soap, lightly coat the mold with cooking spray, pour at trace, unmold after 24 hours, and cure 4–8 weeks; add sodium lactate if your recipe stays soft. For lotion bars, pour melted mixture (no hotter than 135°F), allow to solidify, then press the back of the mold to release. Wash molds in warm, soapy water and avoid dishwashers to prevent warping.

"This mold is so cute but is really not very good for soap. My first use went great but my second and third attempts were failures, ruining my soap. I brushed mineral oil inside the molds and my soap still would not come out, even after 3 weeks in the mold. I ended up running hot water over the back of the mold just to get the soap out which basically melted the surface of the soap."

"I totally agree with the commenters who use these little molds (0. 65 oz. ) for travel CP soaps and leftover batter. My new love for these is to make shower fizzies with them. can this mold be used for cold process soaps?: You can use these molds for cold process soap but they can only tolerate temperatures of 135°-145°F. Above these temperatures, warping will occur.
I understand this mold makes 4 oz soaps, what are the measurements?: The dimensions of each bar are 4 x 2 x 1.25
