"I used the cetyl alcohol flakes at 2. 5% in my creamy lotion butter recipe and the consistency came out beautiful. So, silky and creamy. I use this lotion on my hands repeatedly throughout the day and the inside of my hands, which tends to get pretty rough, is smooth, even after washing. I love it! Great product."

"Meh. Smell is 'delicate,' which is a nice way of saying 'weak. ' OOB, the rose scent is there, but really this just smells like a faded potpourri. For the price, I was very disappointed. Put some in shampoo at recommended usage rates, can't really smell it. Might try it in candles, but not holding out a lot of hope for scent throw."

Q&A

Stating severe ricing, wondering how does this behave in m&p, lotions, oils & candles if known...thanks: This fragrance should work fine in MP soap, lotion, etc. We do not recommend using any of the natural fragrance oils in candles. These are milder, more fragile fragance oils. They may not hold up to burning in a candle.
Is this fragrance oil safe to use in candles?: Our fragrances can be used in candles but should be tested to see how they perform with your particular wax.
What percentage would be used for perfume? Roll on oil base? Spray Alcohol base?: Since this natural fragrance can be used at 100% in most products, you would need to test how much each of your products can hold and not be overpowering.
I am a little confused on the IFRA Maximum Skin Exposure it saids 100% for most body products. where would I start to know how much to use?: Even though the fragrance is safe to use 100% straight on the skin, you need to look at the product you are making. MP soap has a recommended fragrance usage of 3%, CP soap is 6%. You want to stay within the range of the product you are making.
This is listed at 3% vanilla. Will it turn my body wash base brown?: This will discolor your body wash over time. We recommend using the vanilla color stabilizer for lotions & washes.
