"Based off the description of the notes, I really thought this was a tropical beachy scent. It was very musky and more on the masculine side with light hints of fruit in the back, I honestly thought they accidentally gave me a bottle that was mislabeled. It took me awhile to find something to do with it. But decided to do a Father's Day soap with it which allowed me to do 5 layers with some slight acceleration but still enough time to do them all."

"This FO had me moving FAST, but it smells SO GOOD, I'd give it 10 stars if I could! Before I share the challenges this beautiful little devil gave me, I want to first point out that my recipe does move on the faster side, I soaped a tad warmer than I normally do (lye & oils at around 90'F), I used a liquid discount (35% concentration), AND I planned a 5 color design (with piped-top). So I certainly wasn't being cautious with a FO I'd never soaped with before! I'm glad I started portioning my colors when my batter was just past emulsion tho, otherwise, I don't think I would have made it into the mold in time! First challenge was immediate ricing in all my colors, but I was able to hand-stir back to smooth, so no biggie there. Then came moderate to heavy acceleration. The beginning of pour was ok, but by the end of it, I was plopping the soap into the mold & banging the ever-living daylights out of it! But I got it all in there, and working fast to get the top piped, I was able topull off what I was envisioning (for the most part)! This FO does have vanillin, but my mica colors have stayed true, and my TD portion only discolored to the softest shade of creamy, buttery-yellow. It's SO LIGHT tho, and actually goes perfect with my color scheme! The scent is EXQUISITE, and made the challenges I had soaping with it SO WORTH IT! I wouldn't call this a ""heady"" scent AT ALL though. It's gorgeously sensual & classy, & is a scent for the confident & sophisticated woman! It's alluring & romantic, with soft, clean florals mingling with just the slightest whisper of opulent, sun-warmed woods! It's a sexy masterpiece, and I can't stress enough how beautiful it smells! I think with cooler temps, a more forgiving recipe & full water this FO would behave MUCH better in CP, but despite my own challenges, I'll DEFINITELY be back for more. . . I LOVE this scent!!"
