"This is a very nice fragrance in the bottle, very masculine and musky. I should have added more to my batch, as the scent is not strong in the final soap (I didn't look at the ratio). It also had a lot of dry spots around the edges of the soap, and some flaking off. I'm not sure if this is a reaction of the fragrance with the oils (palm, olive and coconut oils), or why it happened, but it's the recipe I always use."
"The smell is good if you're looking for more vanilla. The vanilla takes the sandalwood over. I personally wish that there was more sandalwood than vanilla. I guess that's why it's called Vanilla Sandalwood. Vanilla being first!"
"They should update their description, because light brown is completely inaccurate. This is the deepest, richest, closest to black type of brown I have ever had a fragrance turn on me. Think the darkest of dark chocolate. Which is fine, but was not expected. You can barely see the black swirl I added. Anyway, the fragrance smells like toasted marshmallows with a touch of a metallic smell. I don't dislike it but I would probably not order this one again. In fact, I ordered it by mistake, thinking it was one I used to get."

"I have used this fragrance in many products and it never ceases to amaze. It is an excellent blender or on its own. I have tried other sellers versions but they do not compare to RE's. The first time I made whipped soap with it, the man of the house called out from the living room ""honey, what's that smell"". When I said soap, his face 'fell'. A few min later, two building inspectors came in and seen the soap sitting in the mixer and said 'man something smells wonderful!'. He looked around and seen the soap sitting in the mixer and said to the other man 'my wife never cooks'."
