Q&A

If I wanted to substitute in some type of milk powder, what ingredient can i eliminate? or so i have to reformulate the entire recipe?: You may be able to replace the pure cornstarch for a milk powder but we have not tested this. We recommend testing a small batch to ensure proper formulation.
tested this recipe out yesterday but after 24 hours, am unable to cut log without crumbling apart. The "dough" stayed together when mixing, but was difficult to roll into a log. Suggestions?: You may have let your log harden for too long, we suggest only letting the bubble cake harden for two hours before cutting and then allowing your piece to sit overnight before packaging.
Can these be put into a silicon mold?: Bubble Bars have a very soft dough-like texture making them very difficult to unmold from a silicone mold. You are welcome to try making them in a silicone mold. Just be prepared for them to crumble or stick to the mold upon unmolding.
