| COMMENTS: I barely got the soap into a mold and even then couldn't spread it out, I have no idea how it will look, at best it will look primitive, at worse is will have holes in it where I couldn't get it spread out. I hope it smells good, I guess I could always rebatch if it looks really bad. Just made it tonight so it isn't out of the mold until tomorrow. | |

"Holy Schnikes Batman " | ||||||
COMMENTS: Do not try an swirl this! If you want color (and really the Vanillin will do as it pleases.) put it in the oils before adding the fragrance. Have a mold near by and had mix the fragrance in and pour immediately! Even then it will solidify before you get it all in the mold. Be patient because it really is a beautiful fragrance.

"Very Nice!" |
| COMMENTS: Okay, I have to be honest. I received an order about a week ago and was excited to try the Vanilla Musk because I am always looking for another drool-worthy musk to add to my lineup. When I first opened this bottle up, I was sooooo disappointed. It just seemed like an odd mish-mash of scents that really just did not work together. It was sharp, bitter, almost medicinal to my nose. There wasn't anything smooth nor appealing about it. I sat it aside and did not even uncap the bottle again until today. Well, I learned a lesson. I read once that when you receive a shipment of perfumes OR fragrance oils, it's important to let them settle for a couple of days before you go about the business of sampling them. I never put much stock in that until now. I was all set to sit down and write a "meh" review for this FO, but got up and grabbed the bottle for another sniff first just to be sure. Oh my goodness. I think the elves must've swapped out my bottles and replaced that horrid vanilla musk with this delicious one! B-) It's like smelling an entirely different blend and there is NO resemblance to what I experienced that first day right after I opened up that shipment. None. I'm glad I decided to try it again before leaving a review. Also, I have to say that I don't really pick up jasmine in this blend - what I do pick up is more like ylang ylang. I had to double check the notes to make sure what all was in here. To be perfectly frank, what this reminds me of is WSP's Madagascar mixed with musk. In all honesty, not a bad thing - I call Madagascar something else and it has become one of my most popular perfumes. :-) | |

"Nice light musk" |
| COMMENTS: I liked this FO out of the bottle it was a nice light scent but not too light. It could probably be used as a unisex type FO. I used it in CP soap at 4% I didn't have any ricing or acceleration but it did discolor to a light tan which to me was appropriate for an FO with vanilla in the name anyway. At one week the fragrance is still holding well. | |
