"My customers absolutely love this scent in my MP soap and lotions. I want to use it now in my bath bombs. Do I need to use the vanilla stabilizer for bath bombs, just as I would in my MP soap? "

Hello, Yes I would say to use the vanilla stabilizer with your bath bombs. The vanilla can still turn your bath bombs but with WSP's vanilla stabilizer it will stop it. Remember to mix it with your fragrance oil before adding it to your bath bomb mixture. Thank You For Your Question

So which vanilla stabilizer would I use for my bath bombs, there are 3, 1 for CP, 1 for MP, and 1 for lotions and washes (liquid products)???

COMMENTS: This scent smells delicious! It sticks well and in cold process soap and sells really well. I used it in shampoo bars and the scent morphed into something not as sweet but still good. I used it in a body butter and it was perfect.

"SMELLS AMAZING"

COMMENTS: I love this scent, however it's NOT the Jolly rancher scent everyone is saying it is. It smells very similar to the Watermelon Sugar scent. I was a bit disappointed when it arrived as I was hoping it had a stronger aroma like the Jolly Rancher Candy. This was used in a Freshie bead mix. I'll still be using it for Bath Fizzies and Lotions in the near future.

"OMG Delicious! "

COMMENTS: Scent is amazing! So juicy, you want to eat it! Smells reminiscent of the bubbalicious gum or the bubble tape in the round containers? Eeee! I'm totally an early 90s baby lol. Anyway, I used in CP soap, and shaped at about 85°F, added my colorants and lye FIRST, get it to your consistency, THEN add your FO with this one, trust me! You'll be able to do layers and swirls like this. I did a double green swirl base with a red poppyseed top, and it only separated a little bit, a few drops here and there, (it was actually lye seepage), because I played with the top too long while it was heating up to set. I encourage my soaps to gel for brighter color. That stay set and are less likely to color morph with vanillin. I hope this helped somebody.

"Happy With My CP Soap"

COMMENTS: I read all the reviews and decided to give it a shot in CP. I went with more rustic uneven layers to give myself a bit of leeway. I soaped at about 85ish, stick blended until just emulsified, and hand-whisked in 6% FO + CP vanilla stabilizer. It definitely accelerated, but I was still able to pull off the green/white/red layers I had planned without too much difficulty. Really pleased with how the soap turned out, but knocked off a star because the fragrance faded a fair bit after cure, and I think increasing the usage rate would probably be asking for trouble. Really nice scent, though! Being prepared to work fast, not overmixing, and choosing a fairly simple design worked for me.

"Fast Acceleration"

COMMENTS: I did read that this can have moderate acceleration so I was prepared. I worked till thin trace then added colors but waited to add FO until I was ready to pour. I stirred it by hand but it accelerated so quickly, it was already hardening just after I poured my layers. Smells amazing, just be prepared to work FAST.

"Watermelon Soap for Xmas"

COMMENTS: I did a craft show the week before last Christmas, and since my soap stock was running low, I packed my leftover from summer, Watermelon soap. My husband said, no one's going to buy watermelon soap in December. But, I took my last 8 bars anyway. Men & women loved it. Everyone said Wow! This smells just like fresh sliced watermelon. I sold out - including the one I opened so people could smell it. I was almost as surprised as my husband. I sell my soaps for $10.00 a 6oz bar but everyone loved the scent and though they would make great stocking stuffers. You never know.

"Amazing Fragrance"

COMMENTS: This watermelon fragrance smells wonderful! It slightly colored my soap pink, allowing me to use less mica powder to get the watermelon color that we all love. My CP soap did seize slightly, but I expected that to happen. It also doesn’t seem to fade like some watermelon fragrance oils I have tried.

COMMENTS: I don’t have many clients who love fruit fragrance. Malon has proven otherwise. My clients have requested this fragrance in other products than soap. I noticed this works well in Melt and pore than Cold process. I however I didn’t have any problem working with it in CPS.

"Smells so good!"

COMMENTS: I was a bit apprehensive on trying something complicated with this FO, after reading some of the reviews on acceleration. However, I decided to go for it. I did you a very slow tracing recipe at room temp. I actually had WAY more time than I had planned to work with it. It didn’t rice. It didn’t seize. I did take into consideration that the vanilla would discolor the end product and am very pleased with how it turned out. I would definitely buy and make this again!

COMMENTS: This is one of my favorite scents from MSP so far. I had no trouble with it in my hp soap but next time I will use more because I can barely smell it after 2 weeks. I think that has to do with me not adding enough of it so, I will try it again and use more next time. I made some sugar scrub and body butter and they smell so good you will almost want to eat it.

"Smells Fabulous, But...."

COMMENTS: This is by far my favorite watermelon fragrance oil. It's strong and beautiful. Clearly watermelon, but there is some complexity as well. Unfortunately, I can't use it in my watermelon soap design which is a pink-red base with black teardrop "seeds," and a white and green "rind." The base soap needs to be fluid for the funnel teardrop technique to work, and this FO accelerates quickly. It also discolors significantly. Will try it in bath bombs.

COMMENTS: This is an awesome , strong scent that lasts in my cp soap. I did give it a less than perfect rating for two reasons #1 acceleration and discoloration. I have to use vanilla stabilizer but be warned it will still eventually discolor.

"Watermelon Mania... Loud and Proud"

COMMENTS: This fragrance is really strong. It held up nicely in Cold Process and 'stuck' like glue. This fragrance will accelerate so I soaped at room temperature and it behaved well. No ricing. 2% Vanillin so it will discolor without a stabilizer.

"Love the scent not the seize."

COMMENTS: I've made two batches of this scent, I CPOP'd the first one and my mica morphed into a peach color, the second tone I made soap I figured I would not CPOP it and maybe the color would be better. I changed to a pink mica instead of the pinky orange one I'd used before and in between layers my white layer got too hard! Any way it oozedoil and was pretty much a flop. I haven't given up just decided to make each layer as like doing a separate soap, make the green soap first, then the white soap and lastly the pink! I'm determined to make this work! It does smell fabulous!

COMMENTS: such a fun fo - great aroma - almost just like watermelon - maybe not quite as sweet but w/ a hint of something I can not put my finger on - very pleasant, bright, juicy - do not need to use a lot to achieve the correct aroma in mp or cp. I think my cp might have gone a bit faster but gave me no real problems - my recipe moves very slowly and I always try to plan ahead incase of ricing or rushing or whatever. kids love this fo - made bath bombs to look like watermelon w/ seeds and all - so cute - great seller. COMMENTS: There was a coupon for this product & I thought it could possibly be a good addition as a summer scent. OMG, it's amazing. I completely didn't expect to love it the way I do. Smells just like watermelon candy. I thought it was labeled as a fo, but I made a sugar scrub with it & after a customer suggestion, made a lip balm & lip scrub. It smells & tastes like it smells, (not sure if it's because the sugar is sweet & the fragrance makes you think you're tasting what you smell, or if it's actually tasting like it.) Either way, it's amazing. I highly recommend it!

COMMENTS: I use this fragrance to make a watermelon-colored bar similar to the recipe featured in the WSP recipe section. It is a fast seller, and I have a hard time keeping this bar in stock. I've watched many customers pick up this bar and tell their friends "You've got to smell THIS one!" Haven't had any issues using this in MP soap. COMMENTS: I will use it in butters, salts, scrubs and lotions. Not Cold Process. Even with a water discount at 100 degrees this clumped horribly less than a minute after adding fragrance. So now the color I added has bits and chunks of un-dyed soap all throughout the soap.If you do use it for CP dont dye it and pour immediately and you might have better luck. It also discolored to a yellow even after I had added additional TD to the oils. This gets five stars because the scent is amazing for so many other applications.

We've also used this is beeswax lip balm and it is a hit! The shampoo and conditioner sold too! The original bottle of FO was purchased at the end of last summer and is still strong and sweet. This watermelon has been requested enough that we needed to resupply. Be careful if you color the product - some colorants fade in sunlight.

"Smells Fantastic But Is BROWN"

COMMENTS: I really want to love this and give it 5 stars but it ruined 2 pounds of crystal clear melt and pour soap by turning it a dingy yellow color. I wish I could know ahead of time it was going to do that immediately. Even when I poured it into a clear cup to measure it did not seem that dingy. With or without color stabilizer it will make things immediately dingy. Such a shame because it smells great.

"Not for use in CP soap!"

COMMENTS: I bought this fragrance for my annual watermelon cp soap. It is definitely not for use CP soap! I used a slow moving recipe thinking I could get some layers and swirls. Nope! It seized quickly and when I stirred it with a whisk, it looked like a slushee. I glopped it in my mold anyway. The next day, it had puddles of oil on top and the bars were very oily. I blotted off the oil on top and the bars absorbed the rest.It doesn't look like watermelon soap. I will say that the fragrance is very nice. I made bath bombs and they all sold quickly.

"awesome scent, but..."

COMMENTS: this is an awesome smelling fragrance oil but it seized IMMEDIATELY1 once I poured the fragrance oil into the soap mixture I didn't get 2 seconds to stick blend. "Never again"

COMMENTS: Hands down the best smelling watermelon i have ever tried. Never again will i buy this garbage. It accelerated immediately almost to the point where it seized. Was able to stick lend it out, only two have it separate. I continued to stick blend, but it continued separating the point where I had pools of the fragrance oil on top of the mix and bottom of the bowl.

"The smell is amazing "

COMMENTS: I was so excited to use this for a children's soap! It smells just like watermelon Jolley Ranchers. It said moderate acceleration but I was not prepared for it to seize like it did. It also riced a tiny bit. I barely managed to get this into the mold, forget a nice straight line for the rind. Make sure your soap batter is extremely thin trace, mix color in by hand, then mix in the FO by hand right before you pour. The fragrance may make this worth the pain.

COMMENTS: Read the reviews and some said this accelerated quickly, some said it riced, others said it behaved well. That was an understatement. It riced and it traced so fast I had to beat and beat just to get it into the mold. The only positive to it, is the smell. Devine smell! Don't make cp soap with it unless you want to pull your hair out and drop kick your loaf into the neighbor's yard

"Lovely scent, didn't work well in CP"

COMMENTS: Caused my soap to seize, then separated out, almost immediately after mixing in. I loved the scent, though, it was wonderful! Will probably try again with a different, slower tracing soap.

"Holy Seizing, Batman!"

COMMENTS: The SECOND I put this in my CP soap batter, BAM! Solid. I could turn my bowl upside-down and it didn't fall out. Unbelievable. It's a lovely scent, so that's nice, but beware--if you are going to use this, work FAST and use a low-acceleration recipe. I was even soaping at low temps. I managed to squish as much as I could in the mold and then after 24 hours, I chopped and shaved and managed to salvage some bits.

	"Soap on a Stick"
COMMENTS: After reading the other reviews, I knew I would have to work fast with this one, so I used my slowest moving recipe and had everything ready to go. As soon as I hit a super light trace - BAM! Soap on a stick. The smell is fabulous though. I will stick to using this one in bath bombs, lotion bars, and MP soaps.

"Difficult to work with..."

COMMENTS: This fragrance smells absolutely fabulous; however, it caused my soap to seize instantly. I can't use it again for soap, but will try it in a bath bomb because the scent is mouth watering wonderful!
