Watermelon Sorbet Fragrance Oil 17092

Major Separation

"Used in my goat milk recipe of avocado, beef tallow, coconut, sunflower and castor(This is a VERY forgiving recipe for accelerating FOs). It started to get grainy and i knew. . . it took me 30 minutes to stick blend and all the sudden it smoothed out and came back together. It stayed at a very light trace for a very long time so I stirred it continuously to make sure it wouldnt separate again plus i needed it to thicken a little for my poppy seeds. I will say after dealing with the separation, I had plenty of time to work with swirls if i wanted. It smells delicious like watermelon candy but I wont buy this again. I used two stick blenders for this."

Acceleration And separation in CP

"This is a beautiful watermelon scent, but it did not work well in my cold process soap. It turned very watery after adding it to my soap batter, then separated and then accelerated very quickly. Will not be using this one again in cp just praying it doesn't discolor. I should have know better since there were no soap notes."

Beautiful scent but difficult to work with.

"This is a very difficult fragrance to work with. I make runs of 1500 bars with it for a customer and dread it everytime. To make it work I soap between 75 and 80, add lye solution, mix to immersion, split out my colors and then quickly add fragrance and move fast. If I didn't have to I would not use this fragrance."

Smells amazing but moves fast!

"The good - This fragrance oil smells so good, my entire house smells like watermelon candy! The bad - It wasn't soap on a stick but it was very close! I barely had time to get my soap in the mold and my planned watermelon slice design came out quite sloppy! It also discolored other tops and sides of my soap. I can work around the acceleration now that I know what to expect but I'm not happy with the discoloration'"

THE best watermelon fragrance out there!

"I tested at least 8 other watermelon fragrance oils from many suppliers. . . . This one is the absolute best. Some of the others I tested faded or accelerated or turned brown. . . This one does non of that!!! Perfect to work with in CP soap! NO A R or D and the scent sticks like glue, even after 8 week cure. Highly recommend for CP soaping."

ACCELERATED in cold process

"This has an amazing scent but it did accelerate in cold process so would not suggest using for that purpose. Within seconds it goes from fluid to brick. Is a great scent in shampoo bars and lotion."
