No Discoloration in CP Soap! Great fragrance

"The Soaping Notes say that the color after cure will be Brown. There must be a typo in the description b/c I made a bar of CP soap a week ago just to test the fragrance performance and it performed beautifully (no A/R) and there is absolutely no discoloration. It's almost identical to the "control" bar I made from the same recipe with no fragrance at all. I fragranced at 5% - and the scent is fantastic. Highly recommend this fragrance and suggest that WSP update the Soaping Notes, in case the note about discoloration scared anyone away."

A Staple In My Line

"I LOVE this scent. It has become a staple in my line since the day I first used it. Soaps beautifully. . . no ricing, no discoloration, no acceleration. Scent is very long lasting as well. I have a bar I ""kept back"" for myself and had it in the drawer in the bathroom. It was from a batch I made early last year so it's over a year old. Took off the wrapper and it smells like I just made it last week. Love this one!"

Weird Pungent Smell

"I only used 1ML combined with other fragrance oils in 5 lbs of powdered milk bath and whoa this one oil almost ruined the entire batch. Not like any white tea and ginger I've ever smelled before but definitely a strong weird smell once combined with the other oils and powders. Luckily, I recognized it as the culprit and was able to mask the smell with the other oils."

Q&A

Say it cures to brown , can some td prevent a brown color? I really don't like brown soap.
There are other ingredients that can cause discoloration but brown is odd since there is 0 vanillin.When discoloration isn't from vanillin color stabilizer won't help. You can try to use TD but we have not tested this.
Are there any available photos of what this looks like in cured CP soap?
We do not have any pictures available of the color change in CP for this FO.
How do you make a body splash/spray with this?

Can I use this at 10% in a perfume? How about a room spray?
Yes, you can use it at that rate for perfumes and room sprays.
How much of this (%) would you use in cold process ppo?
We usually recommend 6% fragrance per pound of soap being made, or 1 oz. per pound.
