About This Recipe:

These bath fizzies make a perfect gift for anyone who loves to soap in the bathtub. As the bath fizzy starts to fizz you will see the rose petals disperse throughout the water as the scent of apples, pears and wildflowers fill the air.

Recipe Ingredients:

Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 8 oz. Citric Acid Powder
• 2 oz. Bentonite Clay
• 16 oz. Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate)
• 1 oz. Rose Petals - Red Buds & Leaves
• 1/2 Teaspoon(s) Bath Bomb Yellow Powder Color
• 0.50 oz. Beautiful Day* Fragrance Oil 734
• 0.50 oz. Shea 50
Equipment From Home:
• (1) Cookie Sheet
• (1) Large Glass Mixing Bowl
• (1) Wire Whisk
• (1) Measuring Spoons
• (1) 1 Each Scale - Digital Display (Professional)

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. To large mixing bowl, add baking soda, citric acid and bentonite clay.
  2. Using whisk, blend ingredients and break up any clumps.
  3. Add yellow powder and blend well into dry mixture.
  4. Lay out clamshells. Sprinkle 1 tsp. of rose petals into bottom of each cavity.
  5. Drizzle fragrance and Shea 50 over powder while hand mixing.
  6. Pack mixture into each clamshell.
  7. Let completely harden. Clean any excess powder around the clamshell then place backs onto clamshells.
  8. Label product accordingly.
To Use: Drop into warm bath water and enjoy.
