These bath fizzies make a perfect gift for anyone who loves to soap in the bathtub. As the bath fizzy starts to fizz you will see the rose petals disperse throughout the water as the scent of apples, pears and wildflowers fill the air.

(1) 1 lb Citric Acid Powder

(1) 2 oz Bentonite Clay

(1) 1 lb Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate)

(1) 2 oz Rose Petals - Red Buds & Leaves

(1) 2.5 gm Bag Bath Bomb Yellow Powder Color

(1) 2 fl. oz Beautiful Day* Fragrance Oil 734

(1) 2 oz Shea 50

(1) 1 Each Hairnets - 24 inch Disposable

(10) 1 Piece Plain Heart Clamshell with Hinged Lid

Recipe Ingredients:

Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 8 oz. Citric Acid Powder
• 2 oz. Bentonite Clay
• 16 oz. Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate)
• 1 oz. Rose Petals - Red Buds & Leaves
• 1/2 Teaspoon(s) Bath Bomb Yellow Powder Color
• 0.50 oz. Beautiful Day* Fragrance Oil 734
• 0.50 oz. Shea 50

Equipment From Home:

• (1) Cookie Sheet
• (1) Large Glass Mixing Bowl
• (1) Wire Whisk
• (1) Measuring Spoons
• (1) 1 Each Scale - Digital Display (Professional)

Directions:

NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.

To large mixing bowl, add baking soda, citric acid and bentonite clay.
Using whisk, blend ingredients and break up any clumps.
Add yellow powder and blend well into dry mixture.
Lay out clamshells. Sprinkle 1 tsp. of rose petals into bottom of each cavity.
Drizzle fragrance and Shea 50 over powder while hand mixing.
Pack mixture into each clamshell.
Let completely harden. Clean any excess powder around the clamshell then place backs onto clamshells.
Label product accordingly.

To Use: Drop into warm bath water and enjoy.

"I have had this recipe in my files and make it for my bath bombs. I change out the scent. I have original scent in recipe that is called XOXO and now I need more. I can not find it to order. Have you changed name? There is a different fragrance now used in recipe is it the same scent just a new name? My customers love XOXO and I need more HELP! Jody "

"Attempted this recipe using the bath bomb molds. They are still in the drying phase but, I had taken the top off since the sides had fused together. The bath bomb has expanded on the side exposed to the air. I'm wondering what caused this? Did it need to be lfet in the mold for longer? Did I use too much rubbing acohol? Did water manage to sneak in at some point? Not really sure what I did wrong. "
