Beautiful Sweet Fragrance/Exact Lush Dupe!
"I went to Lush and grabbed the shampoo bar in the Honey I Washed the Kids scents. I got pretty obsessed with the scent, lol and could not stop smelling the bar. OMG It's so so good! Let me tell you, they are IDENTICAL! How is this possible? Lol! This is it. I immediately made cold process soap with it and because I was prepare this FO to accelerate, I decided to do 33% lye concentration just to test it out and because I used cavity molds. If I need to pour in 1 mold I will definitely go with a bigger water discount. Water discount has proven to me the ONLY solution to prevent soda ash with I DISLIKE and that's the only downside of using accelerating FO for those who wants to do full water discount to prevent soda ash. While I was pouring the soap on each mold cavity (a lot of molds) the batter start thickening and getting grainy but a quick stir let me continue pouring nice creamy batter. For CP soap if you know what you are doing this FO is manageable, but not the easiest. My advice is to take the soap batter to emulsion, pour the FO at the end and whisk it. DO NOT stick blend it. My soap is curing at this time, but I can tell the FO will stay. I'm not expecting the scent to be as strong as you smell it out of the bottle because sweet, caramel, honey type of fragrances always end up being very subtle on soap. I bet Lush's soap in this scent does not smell strong as the shampoo bar I got. I also made room spray and it's super strong as on the bottle. So it depends on the application. Next I'm making laundry detergent! Imaging! For those who gave this FO 2-3 stars, unacceptable lol but I understand. If you come here looking for a Honey FO without knowing this was exclusively made to compare with Lush's most popular scent and then you go make CP soap without knowing everything I mentioned above you might be disappointed. Melt and pour soap makers, grab this! And please WSP don't you ever discontinue this FO and GREAT JOB!!!!! Thank you!"
