"I don't know why this gets poor reviews -- it literally smells like whiskey and, as a candle maker, this scent THROWS with an excellent CT and HT. It does have a alcoholic bite to it but the scent throw is warm and pleasant. Coconut Soy wax. Burns a little hot, so I did wick down for this one."

Good Brandy. . .

"Spirit fragrance oils often miss the mark more than other types, as the astringency of 40% alcohol is hard to replicate. This one does it better than most. The stringency of the alcohol is there, and the sweetness of the brandy is too, but they seem to be separate somehow, not working together. Still, this works very well in an ensemble piece as part of a recipe. Blends nicely with Mince Pies or pipe tobacco, for example."
