Want to eat it!!

"This smells exactly like Starbucks lemon pound cake. Its a best selling in sugar scrub. It does discolor bathbombs with dark brown spots. Haven't used in soap yet, but I bet it will discolor."

"This is a very nice sweet lemon scent. It however is a yellowish oil and changed my base slightly yellow. I just added yellow mica and am very pleased with the results."

Q&A

Has Lemon Poundcake been reformulated? It smells completely different to me as if the sweetness is no longer there. I have purchased several 16 oz bottles of this fragrance over the past few years.
Hi Caroline, thanks for reaching out. There have been no changes to this formula. Please reach out to our customer service team and they will be able to help resolve this issue: https://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/ContactUs.aspx
Do I need to use a color stabilizer in lotions and creams? If so, at what ratio to fragrance? Thanks!
This fragrance contains 7% vanilla so the stabilizer should be used. Directions for less than 10% vanilla, is 2 parts fragrance to 1 part stabilizer. If 10% or more, use equal parts of each.
Will this turn body butter and bath bombs brown? If yes, what would the solution be?
This fragrance contains 7% vanilla and will discolor your bath bombs. You would need to use the Vanilla Color Stabilizer for CP soap to help prevent this. Since body butters are oil soluble, they will not discolor with vanilla.
I used Vanilla Stabilizer for CP at a 2 FO:1 VS ratio, and still got darkening after 4 days. Do I need to increase the Vanilla Stabilizer to 1:1, or is there an amount of VS you've tested and found successful? Maybe 2 FO:1.5 VS?
Because the Lemon Poundcake Fragrance Oil has 7% vanilla, we would recommend using a 2:1 ratio.
