Two thumbs up

"This oil has an interesting smell. It smells like pepper but not over powering. Mixed with some bay rum makes a wonderful manly scent for cold process soap."

Christina (5/5)

to be honest

"Maybe I'm the only one but I was just really disappointed in this fragrance. I move a lot of soaps but this one stays on the shelf - no one is buying it. I've jazzed up this particular soap even - swirled with activated charcoal and turmeric - topped with peppercorns and gave it a great name. People grab it because it's so dang cool looking but then put it back after they take a whiff. I caved to all the great reviews on the black pepper scents but won't be making more of this one. It could be just this particular scent though - maybe the other one WSP sells has better tones to it? Don't know, I've only ever tried this one. It also does fade in CP soap and accelerates. I love WSP fragrances and tried hard to like this one. But won't buy it again."

I love this Black Pepper Fragrance

"This smells different that you would think. it goes great with Blood Orange scent and I will be making it in hot and cold process soaps."

Theresa (4/5)

Peppery in the bottle, fades in product

"To be honest, I love this fragrance out of the bottle. the only issue I have is that it's so light while in the product, it fades. I was hoping for a bit more potency. Other than that, it's true to scent and I made what I think will be my next best seller with it."

Ebony (4/5)

"I would like it to have more pepper smell, but overall this is a good fragrance!"

Nice Scent

"Doesn't have that pungent punch pepper has, it's smooth and light."

A little Pepper Never Hurts

"We were looking for a fragrance to add a little spice to last year's Holiday Line and this one was Awesome! Not over powering just the right punch of spice enjoyed by all who purchased."

Betsy (5/5)

"Very nice combined with others"

Q&A

Is this similar to the Black Pepper Fragrance Oil I purchased a couple years ago?
These are two separate fragrances. You are comparing this to Black Pepper Fragrance 595 which is a Molton Brown dupe. It is blended with bergamot and oakmoss.
How would this blend with whisky and tobacco? I'm trying to imagine a 1960's gangster/gentlemen smell.
We would not know how this would be if it were blended with other fragrances. We recommend purchasing a 2 ounce size for testing.
I've noticed some fragrances don't specify vanilla content, Like Madagascar Black Pepper. I'm just not sure whether to take the no specification of vanilla content as meaning that there is none, or whether to take the fact that it's not on the "Zero Vanilla Fragrance Oils" list as that it does.
Thank you for your question Alisha. We have received confirmation from the manufacture that the Vanilla Content for this fragrance is 0%. Please feel free to call customer service for further assistance.

Hello Alisha,Thank you for your posting. Some of our newer fragrances do not specify this information and we have to request it from the manufacturer which can take some time depending on their and our back log. I have requested this information for this fragrance and our purchasing department will update the website as soon as they have received an answer.
