LOVE THIS BATH PRODUCT

"This bath ""milk"" kit was wonderful. I really enjoyed the subtle smell and the way it made my skin feel after the bath."

Q&A

I made this today and as I was mixing it, it started to turn to gel. What can I do to soften it up so I can pour it into bottles?
I didn't add anything extra. It did it while I was mixing g it. Maybe I was mixing too fast? I let it sit in mixing cup in the sun and would slowly stir every 15 minutes and I got most of the gel to dissolve. All but about 1 tablespoons of gel left.

Nothing added. Mixed it exactly as instructions state and as I was mixing the end of the spoon started getting gel on it. So I tipped the bowl and the bottom was all gel.

This should not gel, did you add anything additional to the recipe?

It's possibly too much Poly 80 was added. You can put it in a warm water bath to try to thin in down. If not, you may be able to add a small amount more oil & vinegar.
what other oil could be used in place of olive?
You could technically use any oil but we recommend one that absorbs quickly.
