Details

Cut soap base into small pieces, and melt in the microwave at 30-second intervals (or use a double boiler), stirring until fully liquefied. Once melted, add cosmetic color, fragrance, and other skin-safe additives—this base can hold up to 5% total additives—then pour the mixture into a Crafter’s Choice mold and spritz the surface with rubbing alcohol to reduce bubbles. Allow the soap to cool completely before unmolding, then wrap it in airtight plastic wrap to preserve freshness. Melted soap is hot and should be used with caution; recommended for ages 15 and older.

Excellent Ultra White Base

"Having purchased several of WSP MP bases, I wanted and needed an ultra white base. They didn't disappoint and decided to pick up a 10 lb. block of it. Getting the product out of the plastic bag was a little challenging but I persevered. The base is a pleasure to work with. It handles colorants and fragrances with ease. "Loving this soap base! Creamy lather and very white in color compared to the more beige color of other brands I've used. Q&A

As far as addictives that can be added to the soap, colloidal oats and or botanical oils too? I am new to this and wondering as an option to add to my line of products.: We don't recommend adding additional butters and oils to MP soap. They compromise lather, cause separation, prevent the soap from fully hardening, and can cause rancidity. You can add oats (they may not suspend), and most MP soap bases accept ~3% fragrance or essential oil, leaving room for 1% - 3% additional ingredients. I had a customer mentioned that the ingredients in this soap base is harsh on the skin. Can you elaborate a little about the ingredients and safety of them.: You will need to conduct your own testing. The SDS and ingredient list is available on the product page.
Is your Premium Soap Base the same as suspension soap base? If not, why do you call it premium? I need Shea Butter and Goats Milk Suspension melt and pour soap base, because I use dried petals and leaves in my soap and I want it to dispense evenly throughout the soap.: We do not carry a suspension soap base. The Premium Soap Bases are our highest quality and best lathering soap bases. To help suspend ingredients, we recommend letting the soap cool and thicken slightly. This will help keep the ingredients from settling to the bottom.
I am looking for SFIC goat's milk m&p base. is this from them? I have tried some other crafters choice bases but they were too waxy for what i want. Other than coconut and palm oil, what other oils are in the base? I have customers that have reactions to coconut oil.: Many of the ingredients are derived from either coconut or palm oils. These are the only oils used in this particular base.
