Our Premium Three Butter Plus Melt and Pour Soap Base is opaque and white in color. It contains shea butter, cocoa butter, and mango butter…all of which are thought to benefit dry skin. Produces luxurious, big-bubble lather. Packaged in a foil‑lined, corrugated box to maintain freshness and performance. Makes (92) 4 oz soap bars.

Details

Cut soap base into small pieces, and melt in the microwave at 30-second intervals (or use a double boiler), stirring until fully liquefied. Once melted, add cosmetic color, fragrance, and other skin-safe additives—this base can hold up to 5% total additives—then pour the mixture into a Crafter’s Choice mold and spritz the surface with rubbing alcohol to reduce bubbles. Allow the soap to cool completely before unmolding, then wrap it in airtight plastic wrap to preserve freshness. Melted soap is hot and should be used with caution; recommended for ages 15 and older.

"Upon trying this soap … I’m disappointed and not loving how this soap appears once it hardens. It looks like an inexpensive wax and a bit translucent. For example…Reminds me of the wax used in a dollar store tea light. I’ve never seen this in a soap. I’m comparing this to another triple butter that I was using. I would not buy this again. I still have an entire container minus the portion I used. Is there any way I can return this? I would love to exchange it for the baby buttermilk that I’ve purchased 2 times already. What percentage additives can be added to this base? Is it the same for all MP soap bases?: We recommend adding no more than 5% oils (including fragrance) to our MP soap bases. Adding oils will decrease the lather.
Hi, what is the difference between the Three Butter and the Three Butter Plus?: The Detergent Free Three Butter is detergent-free, while the Premium Three Butter Plus contains added detergent. The word 'Plus' is just a part of the name in this case as we do not offer a different kind of Premium Three Butter at this time.
What are the ingredients on this base? You mentioned sustainable palm oil but I don't see it in the list of ingredients: "Sorbitol, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Stearic Acid, Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Myristic Acid, Lauric Acid, Shea Butter, Coca Butter, Mango Butter, Titanium Dioxide".
