Top quality

"Ive been a customer for 18 years. Still outstanding quality that I love."

Love this soap base!

"Love this soap base!"

Tammera H. (5/5)

Premium Ultra white glycerin base

"Best ultra white base. Easy to work with, lathers well, and it is true white."

Olga B. (5/5)

Excellent soap base.

"Pure white color, ease of use, and high quality of finished bars - all I need to say. Even stock that's been around for a few years (I took a break from soapmaking) simply takes a little longer to melt but the finished bars are no worse. Packaged correctly, bars did not sweat even after long periods of storage (although this seems to differ from user to user. )"

Dane (5/5)

Fantastically bubbly

"Great ingredients already, and I add some more, for a fantastically bubbly, moisturizing, and skin-softening soap. Excellent price & quality. I would absolutely refer people to this product. It doesn't have a chemical scent when it arrives. It takes color, powders, oils, butters, FOs and EOs very well. Melts quickly."

Love this base

"I love this base. It is great for white layers in my soaps. Easy to unmold. Holds scent well. Crafter's Choice M&P is the best. I have been using this base for years. Please don't ever stop selling it."

Anna (5/5)

Loved this soap base

"This was a staple of mine for years. But I love the low sweat better. As with all WSP items, amazing and consistent quality!"

Lauren (5/5)

Low Sweat and Great Lather

"After trying several white soaps, this has become my favorite. I definitely have experienced less sweat with this one and it has a great thick lather. It is also a beautiful white soap and takes color very well."

Jennifer (5/5)

The Purest White

"I love this base. It is so perfectly white and bright. I didn't realize how white until I put it up against another base. Wonderful for wedding white, snowflakes, and items of that nature. Has a lovely, light scent and takes FO well."

Laura (5/5)

Best Soap Base

"It really makes a great stand alone soap bar with additives but it also gives such a brightness to formulations like the bath bomb frosting. I've tried to substitute this out for another type of soap I had in stock, however, there is no substitute for this one!"

Q&A

What is the difference between the Premium Ultra White melt and pour soap and the Basic White? I'm looking for the hardest and driest white melt and pour.
You would want to use the premium bases, there is less water used in the formulas.
If I add fragrance oil at 10%, where would I list the fragrance oil in the list of ingredients?
The maximum amount of fragrance oil we recommend adding is 6%. Anything over this, will prevent the soap from hardening back up.
If I add fragrance oil at 6%, where would I list the fragrance oil in the list of ingredients?
Fragrance would be listed after Sodium Hydroxide if adding at 6%.
If I add fragrance oil at 3%, where would I list the fragrance oil in the list of ingredients? Also, if I add essential oil at 1%, where would I list the essential oil in the list of ingredients?
At 3% or 1%, these would both be listed at the end of the ingredient list for this product.
I bought this by accident instead of detergent free. I'm having a hard time with it not melting all the way, even over 135 degrees. I am getting slimy lumps that rise to the surface. Is there a trick to getting it to melt all the way like a detergent free base? I'm nervous to heat it too high and end up with sweating bars.
It sounds like you are just not melting it enough. Melt in microwave in 30 second spurts until completely melted. If the majority is melted and there are still some pieces, simply stir until the pieces have melted in. The maximum heating temp is 160°F and this should definitely be hot enough to melt the soap.
