I didn't use the mica included in the kit, mostly because I forgot, but the lemon EO makes the scrub a gentle yellow, so if you don't want to add color you'll be fine."

"I am so in love with this product. All bottles have been packed and sold and my home still smells as if they were just made. This is an easy product to make. I bought shrink wrap for the bottle to make customers feel safe about tampering of any sort. The shrink wrap is near invisible and did not take away from the beauty of the bottle. I do encourage you to buy extra salt. To fill all 12 bottles, each would be slightly more than half full. I cannot justify giving a little amount and still make a profit. I added an extra 1-1/2 pounds of salt and had eleven adequately filled and one only 1/4 of the way full. I will definitely buy this kit again."

- We are not sure what this white dot is. Make sure your equipment and bottle is clean before making your products. Is this in every bottle? You might want to contact our Customer Service Department to see if they can trouble shoot this.
- Hello, can I substitute the Bamboo Lotus Fragrance Oil with another fragrance oil and the Bamboo extract with your botanical extract blend? If so, would the measurements remain the same and where would I list them in the INCI list?Thank you
- Yes, you can use another fragrance oil for this recipe. You can also sub the Botanical Extract Blend 1 for the Bamboo Extract. The fragrance would stay the same in the ingredient list and you would substitute the Glycerin and Bamboo Extract for the Botanical Extract ingredients.
- I just ran out of optiphen what other preservative can I use? If I can use another preservative how much would I add to this recipe?
- You would need a preservative for water-based formulas, such as Germaben II. This would be added at 2.5 ml-5 ml for this recipe.
