"I understand concentrated fragrances, but I don't smell raspberry at all; not even with a single drop of this oil. "I honestly don't know what natural rosewood essential oil smells like, so I can't give you a good comparison there. But I do really like this scent. It is a perfect base note for a lot of blends I make. It makes scents that feel thin and gives them a rich fullness."

"I read the reviews carefully, so I didn't see this one coming. Nothing exotic in the formula, just your regular oils. I soap at 100 degrees. I didn't get more then a few teaspoons of scent in the pitcher, the seizure was that sudden."

Are any of your fragrances safe for candle making.: Most, if not all, of our fragrances are safe to use in candles. You will need to test for performance, as they were not specifically formulated to work in candles.
I noticed this oil smells old? I just got a free sample 2 weeks ago and so I guess i got an old sample...smells rancid..?: It smells like old makeup if that gives you an idea of what it smells like? I know makeup gets rancid when it's old especially lipstick gets a smell and that's what this oil smells like old lipstick

I doubt it is old. Synthetic fragrances do not go rancid. Do you think perhaps it just has a more earthy smell than what you were expecting?
