Moonlight Path Fragrance Oil

"I have used this fragrance in melt n pour soap. This behave very good in melt n pour. I absolutely love this fragrance oil, it has a very soft and floral pretty scent. Please keep making this fragrance oil as well."

OHHH SO awesome!!

"Such a wonderful scent. I didn't think I would like this for soap but boy was I wrong!! It mixed well, no tracing or ricing. And is a lovely light cinnamon color. I was very pleased with this scent. I will be adding this to my line also."

DEBBIE (5/5)

Yummy

"This one smells so good and is a favorite already. No acceleration. I used vanilla stabilizer on part of it, and it came out a creamy shortbread color, the portion with no vanilla stabilizer came out dark brown which was expected with a 17% vanilla content. Plan to make a candle and fill the house with this yummy scent."

INCREDIBLE!!

"This scent is deliciously intoxicating, I'm in heaven every time I smell it!! It is by far my favourite fragrance from WSP. I had to try to make a body spray for the first time because I loved this so much I wanted to smell it all day! I haven't tried it in CP soap yet because of how high the Vanilla Content is and I wanted it to be a light colored soap. But it smells so good I don't care what color it turns out, I just bought another bottle of this and am planning on making CP with it soon. If you like vanilla and bakery type scents, you'll love this. It's warm and buttery and sweet and amazing!"

Smells almost edible

"My customers love the scent and so do I. I will admit it has a slight chemically scent when you overuse it so I keep it at 1. 5 -2% in my body butter formulations"

Strong and very cookie like!

"I love this cookie - it is the strongest cookie scent I can find anywhere. It smells rather butterscotchy in the bottle, but it mellows very nicely in soap. It's a keeper!"

Christina (5/5)

I smell cookies

"I mixed this one with another of your scents (Sugar Cookies) and a couple of other scents and found the perfect sugar cookie scent. This one smells good on it's own, I was just looking for something a little more. Has a nice butter cookie base, perfect for blending."

Sharon (4/5)

Buttery and sweet

"I was looking for a scent that reminded me of buttery shortbread cookies that are so prevalent around the holidays and this did not disappoint. A little goes a long way, so I was able to use it in a few other scent combinations as well. I'll definitely be buying more."

Krystle (5/5)

Not for me

"I bought this a few months ago hoping to replace another brand of shortbread fragrance. It smelt a bit musky. It didn't smell like a buttery cookie at all to me. Unfortunately it fell and broke all over my floor so I was stuck smelling it for weeks. I'm not sure if it changes scent when used in product, but I couldn't handle it at all in the bottle so I never repurchased."

Keisha (2/5)

Home run

"I really like this scent, it isn't a real buttery in your face kind of shortbread it is just like grandma used to make. I used this with a little blueberry and it was a hit around our shop. Definitely a scent on my list to reorder."

Q&A

I have used Sugared Shortbread in lotions with great success & wonderful reviews. I haven't been as lucky using it in your Crystal Clear Body Wash. It is as if the fragrance is muted. Both with & without using Polysorbate 80. It smells nice enough. But it doesn't really leave a very noticeable fragrance on the skin after bathing. Should I be using more FO or is there another trick to be learned?
We do recommend figuring out the exact percentage to add to your product. Here is a link to our percentage conversion chart: http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/PDFS/ConversionChart.pdf. If you are making a 12 bottle, combine the 8 oz. and 4 oz. together and move over to the 2% line. This is the average amount of fragrance for a body wash. If your FO is safe at a higher percentage, you can then add more. So, for 12 oz. of base, you would use 7.5 ml of FO, which would equal about 1.5 tsps.

I used 1/2 a teaspoon of FO in a 3 ounce sample bottle & 1 teaspoon in a 12 once bottle of bath gel. You'd think that would be plenty. But I can always add more & if it gets runny add some bubble wash thickener. I know from experience that the bubble wash thickener really does help when too much FO has been added.

You did not state how much fragrance you were adding. This fragrance is safe up to 8.7% according to IFRA guidelines although this would considerably thin out your product. You might also use the Poly 20 rather than 80, since Poly 80 is used more to solubilize carrier oils.
