Reviews

Love

"This is a very good fragrance for cold process soap, No rising, no acceleration, holds the scent in the soap and mixes well with other florals, I have a bar that's a year old, still smells lovely."

"This oil smells just like the name. I used 2 ounces in a 42 ounce mold. It has a very nice fragrance, and is light. For stronger scent I would use about 1/2 ounce more. Some customers prefer less scent. This didn't accelerate at all, so my color add-ins dropped through the soap nicely. Some other violets I've purchased in the past smelled more like grape Kool-Aid, but I seriously love this fragrance."

"Smelled just like I was hoping it would. I didn't soap particularly cool and it still moved slow enough I could do some nice layering and swirls. Really happy with it."

Not the best

"Nice soap, but not one of my favorites. I have to add a little more of this scent than I would like, but the scent itself is wonderful!"

WOW

"I love this scent! I instantly came back for more. It's fresh and pretty."

Q&A

Does it discolor CP (or any variation) of the soap?
There is no vanilla in the fragrance and customers have not noticed any soap discoloration. We recommend testing in a small batch to ensure the results are to your liking.
Is there a maximum exposure percentage if using your fragrance oils in bath salts or body scrubs? I assume the oils are safe to use in those products? Also, if there is a vanilla content, does a stabilizer need to be used in bath salts or body scrubs to prevent discoloring?
Body Scrubs and Bath Salts fall under the same category as Body Washes. For Violet Bouquet Fragrance Oil that would be 8%. If a fragrance contains vanilla, it is recommended that you use a vanilla color stabilizer. Most products will turn brown, but there are exceptions to everything. I would recommend making a small test batch without a stabilizer and letting it sit for at least 7 days. This will allow you to determine whether or not a stabilizer is required for that formula.
