Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. Assemble the Tree Column Silicone Mold making sure all sides are firmly linked together. Place mold on a cookie sheet to give it stability and also to catch any soap should it leak out. Prop sides of molds against something solid to keep mold from falling over.
  2. TREE: In microwave-safe measuring cup, add 15 oz. cut up clear soap. Add 1/2 of Woodland Green Soap Color block that has been cut up into smaller pieces. Heat in microwave until melted.
  3. Add 0.50 oz. of Santa's Tree Farm fragrance oil.
  4. When soap has cooled to 125°F, slowly pour melted green soap into tree cavity. Spritz top of soap with alcohol. Let soap harden 2-3 hours. Remove soap from mold and trim any excess soap from the sides. Set aside.
  5. Place loaf mold on cookie sheet.
  6. To microwave-safe measuring cup, add 8 oz. cut up white soap. Heat in microwave until melted.
  7. Pour soap into bottom of loaf.
  8. Spritz the entire tree embed with rubbing alcohol and place down into the loaf mold. Be sure tree is evenly placed so it is right in the middle of the loaf. Let harden.
  9. SOAP SHREDS: Take a 4 oz. block of white soap and using a grater, shred entire piece of soap. Set aside.
  10. To a microwave-safe measuring cup, add 23 oz. of cut up clear soap  Heat in microwave until completely melted.
  11. Add 1 oz. of fragrance and 2-3 drops of liquid blue color. Mix well.
  12. Add 1 teaspoon of glitter to soap and blend in.
  13. Spritz soap in mold including all around the trees with alcohol.
  14. Spritz the soap shreds and sprinkle some into the mold surrounding the tree. They can be piled all the way up the sides of the mold, if desired.
  15. Before pouring soap, be sure to check that the soap temperature is under 130°F .
  16. Pour soap into mold almost to top. Take more soap shreds and place down into soap if there is any room left.
  17. Once you have added desired amount of shreds, pour a little more blue soap over the top to smooth it out. Spritz with alcohol and sprinkle top with more glitter
  18. Place mold in freezer or allow to harden at room temperature.
  19. Remove from mold and using a mitre box, if available, cut into 1" slices. Wrap with plastic wrap or desired packaging.
  20. Label product accordingly.
