Fabulous Holiday Treat

"This was my third recipe of the day. I am new to making body care items for my massage studio. The directions were clear and easy to follow. There was some hardened soap in the bottom of my mixing bowl. . . I'm assuming/hoping it will not create an issue with the final product. I assembled this ""kit"" by buying the ingredients separately as the kit was sold out. The only change I had to make was using straight peppermint EO (about 20 drops) in place of the 2oz of peppermint stick FO/EO. I would add more EO in the future as I think the scent may be a little mild. If I used the 2oz from the kit, I don""t believe this would be an issue. I am very excited to see how this sells!"

Nice Sugar Scrub Kit

"The Peppermint FO smells wonderful for Christmas. The directions are easy to follow. I also used it in M&P soap and it smelled great. The only thing I would change is the black lid for the jar. Black didn't work well for a Christmas gift, in my opinion. I would prefer white or red."

Mine is very thick. Is it supposed to be thick?: Yes this scrub can come out thick, for the MP soap in the base -You can cut down on the amount added if it seems too thick

Hello! I am pulling these ingredients together individually since the kit is out of stock. The only thing I'm "missing" is the red liquid color - can I replace that w/ mica powder? Are there any adjustments I'll need to make? Thanks, L: You can use a mica powder as a substitute colorant. Start with a very small amount (1/4 tsp, for example) and increase as needed.
